Kirsten of Shutter Hound Pet Photography did an incredible job photographing my family and getting amazing solo shots of Cheeto, my cat! She came completely prepared and really did a great job of making sure Cheeto felt comfortable, it shows in the pictures! Had the best experience taking pictures together with Cheeto with lots of pro tips and tricks to make sure we kept Cheetos attention! Couldn’t have asked for a more professional, kind, incredible photographer! Thank you!! I will be recommending you to everyone I know!

We loved shooting with Shutter Hound! We did a family session (2 humans, 2 dogs) and it was super easy to schedule and communicate, everyone felt comfortable, and Kirsten adapted to our dogs' needs to get some really wonderful pictures (so many!). Highly, highly recommend!

Kirsten was amazing to work with from start to finish! I chose her because I loved the examples of her work I saw on Instagram. She is very organized and provided an informational booklet summarizing everything about her services and tips for the photo shoot, which was very helpful. We absolutely love the final photos. Our young dog was so excited during the shoot, and I was shocked that Kirsten was able to take such amazing photos despite not having much to work with. Highly recommend!

We had a family photo session with our 2 pups that really featured our sweet Summer in Kirsten's celebration session. Kirsten was very patient with both our dogs that had two very different energy levels (2 year old lab and 9 year old lab) and did a great job making them (and us!) look fantastic. We lost our Summer to cancer last month and we are so grateful to have these nice photos of us all. Kirsten was also very responsive & accommodating with timing and location being that we could not take Summer far from home near her end. We would highly recommend Kirsten to anyone wishing to capture some truly nice photos themselves with their pup(s)!

My baby boy Titan received a terminal diagnosis on June 8, 2021. I found Kirsten on Google and left a voicemail to see if we could schedule a session because I didn’t know how long I would have with him. Kirsten responded promptly, was able to get us scheduled and we did a Celebration Session of Titan’s life. She is so caring, compassionate, and the pictures came out absolutely gorgeous. A short few days after our session, my sweet boy was laid to rest. I cannot say thank you enough for our session together, this is how I want to remember him. ???????Love you for an eternity my sweet Titan

I wish I had more than 5 stars to give. Shutter Hound Pet Photography did an amazing job with the photos taken of my Shih Tzu puppy. The photographer, Kirsten, was so patient and understanding with my puppy! She is incredibly talented and I cannot recommend her enough. I know that I'll be coming back when my puppy gets older!
