The location of this place is the true plus. The views of the ladybird lake are amazing. The best part of this place is that it's a party place and also kids friendly.

Burgers, beer and boats with a lively and comfortable atmosphere. When I want to get away from it all and just relax for an hour or so, I always enjoy Ski Shores Cafe, sitting in the shade of the cypress trees and watching the boats go by.
Ski Shores Cafe on Lake Austin was founded in 1954 by the Fowler Family as a hamburger joint and watering hole on the “beach” with 25 cent beers for water skiers who ventured far up the lake. For over 60 years, Ski Shores Cafe has been a landmark lakefront destination known for its laid-back vibe, family-friendly fun, griddled burgers and fried catfish.
