Michael always slays every single time I go in. He listens and helps me understand what our next move should be as well as shows me examples when I’m a little unsure. He is always so friendly and efficient without sacrificing the quality of the outcome. I’ve actually seen several stylists at this location, and I’ve been so happy every time. Thanks Spoleti!

Gavin is truly one of the best hair stylists in Austin. His expertise with bobs is unmatched. He understands face shape, hair texture, and movement in a way that results in a perfectly tailored cut every time. The attention to detail, precision, and care he puts into his work is evident from start to finish. I cry from happiness every time!

Love love this salon! When I moved to Austin I needed to find a new salon. After trying a few I really found the best solution when I started seeing Kristen at Spoleti! As one of the managers she really takes her time to understand your needs and gives me the best color and cut every time. Everyone here is very kind, professional and helpful. Couldn’t recommend them more!

I’ve been going to Kate spoke to for over eight years before she even opened the salon. I have been going to the Spalletti salon in South Austin Since she opened. I was seeing Kate personally for a while and now I’m with Ann. We love and she cuts my hair. She cuts my daughter’s hair. She’s always insightful and helpful. She listens to our needs. If only there was a way to double the number of stars I would give them ALL to Kristen, the queen of the curly cut. I had been seeing Kristen for years and then moved up north. I decided to try a stylist located closer and the cut I received killed my poor trying-to-cling-to-life curls. I promptly made an appointment to return south to see Kristen and like she always does: she revived my curls! Was it witchcraft or just her expert experience? Either way, I was so grateful.
In addition to being a total badass with curly cuts, Kristen is also a gem of a human. She's got such great energy and our conversation is always fun/insightful. I look forward to seeing her as much as I do getting my mop tamed. She has curly hair herself and is an expert at bringing curls back to life. She cleaned up my kinda-weird haircut and I've had multiple people inquire about it---it was a visible, immediate improvement.
Curly girls---go see Kristen! You, too, will commute as far as necessary when you see the difference between a regular haircut and a specialty curly cut with a lovely gal who really "gets" curly-hair.

I went to Spoleti recently for a cut and full baylage. I was disappointed after my appointment because the cut and color didn't match up to the pictures that I had prepared for the appointment. That being said, I still had a good experience with Spoleti.
They offered to have me return to the salon to have them fix my hair to what was expected. It was easy to communicate via text and I feel like they did their best to make things right. It's not easy being a small business in Austin, especially when you are working with a service like hair, so I appreciate that the salon did what they could. Ultimately I did not return, however that was primarily because I have another person I have gone to for my hair.
The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the cut/color was not what I was hoping for. However, I would not hesitate in recommending Spoleti to a friend. Thank you, Spoleti team for your responsiveness.

I had a color mess in my hair and i thought it was not fixable but Krystal slayed my hair I loved my end results .Everyone at the salon was polite and professional, and the products are top notch!? no doubt the best salon around.

I went to Krystal today for the first time. I asked for a money piece & highlight with also a layering haircut and she did amazing! She is the sweetest person and recommended some products to improve my hair care & styling. I definitely recommend going to her for your hair services here at Spoleti Salon!

If you are looking to get a Bob, this is not the right place… I want to start by saying that the staff of this salon is very professional and friendly! The salon is also beautiful. My experience was very disappointing since I had very long hair and wanted to make a change by cutting my hair. I made an appointment for a bob haircut and the way I left the salon was with 2 layers, looking like steps from a staircase.. I rocked and rolled my hair but started to get a lot of comments from friends about how it had those two steps and how Bobs are not like that… I decided to go back for another appointment with a different hairstylist. I specifically asked for a straight Bob “NO LAYERS” I said… towards the end of my appointment, the hairdresser says that they needed to “blend” my hair and after the blowout, they start cutting my hair randomly to make it “blend”… my hair now has so many different lengths that makes me cry when I look myself in the mirror. It’s butchered, and there’s nothing I can do about it since it’s so short. The worst part is that it’s only one side, the left side does not have as many layers as my right side which makes it more uneven.. I’m sure this salon has great professionals and I don’t doubt that but this was my experience… I’m now using Bobby pins every day until my hair grows so I can finally get a straight haircut.

I just had the best blowout of my life with Michael!! The conversation was so fun and although I have tons of hair, I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time.

I've been going to Kristen for years now and she does a great job. When I got married in Fredericksburg a few years ago she fitted my extensions and wrote me the sweetest note that I saved ! She's very thoughtful. I come in every few months to get Lasio done with Kristen. I used to get regular keratin until I found out about Lasio and now I'll never go back. It's way less chemicals and it works just as good. The price is very reasonable as well. I do wish they had a better price for when you're just getting a trim as they charge you the same cost as a styled haircut but I think that's most salons. Even when I move in a few months I think I'll just drive the extra distance as I don't think I'll be able to find a comparable spot.
