Brian is excellent therapist. He precísely targeted exercises to address advanced arthritis in hip. Brian was patient and did not push to do exercises I was uncomfortable with. His use of dry needling really helped me progress!!

May 1, 2023 I began physical therapy with Brian Millette after total shoulder replacement. I worked with Brian weekly for 4.5 months and found him to be knowledgeable and courteous with a great sense of humor. He explained things so that I understood, had me doing a myriad of helpful exercises and motivated me to keep working toward my goal. I highly recommend him.

I’ve dealt with chronic pain for 10+ years, and I’ve visited countless chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and physical therapists - seriously, so many. Star Physical Therapy has been by far the best experience I’ve had with a provider, and I feel better than I have in years. The difference comes from the office’s commitment to Postural Restoration, a form of physical therapy that analyzes and optimizes your body mechanics. My therapist, Payton, was incredibly thorough, focused, and kind throughout my time at the office, and I credit her entirely for the progress I’ve made. On top of the great service, the office as a whole felt like a family and the atmosphere really added to the experience. If you have a chance to go to Star Physical Therapy you have to do it.

This is my second review and I feel as though it is warranted. (First on google). I went to see Kyle and Sydney after finding I had a herniated disk in my back. After many visits I am at 99% with my back! (Nothing is perfect!) Well now They are working with me on my knee. My knee is the most difficult of my cases because I’ve had issues since I was 10. So 24 years of terrible advice and terrible care have made things so bad i can’t even touch it! Well my PT heroes have been s

I have had multiple accidents and hardships when it comes to my physical health. To the point my whole right side from my neck to my ankle hates me! Anytime I sought help I did not trust nor like the doctors/therapists. Finally the day came that I was in so much pain I went to the hospital. Reaching for physical therapy that is open late and close to home I found this place! I’m glad I didn’t go with the recommended place from the doctor! Kyle and Sydney are the best! In the past I would quit after two visits but I’m happy to follow through with them. They are helping me get my back in order while also being aware and adjusting treatment to help my knee and shoulder/neck! I actually do the exercises they give me at home (never did before) and my pain levels have decreased tremendously! I highly recommend this place to anyone who feels helpless and hopeless. There is hope! Thanks guys! See ya Monday!

I am currently receiving physical therapy from Carol at this location. I highly recommend Carol and Star Therapy in general. It is a very well run facility. The front desk folks are friendly, professional and very efficient. Carol really knows her stuff! She explains what she is going to do prior to doing them and answers all my questions. She makes excellent recommendations. And, should I not have been able to do my homework, there is no shaming, which I have experienced in the past.I have no hesitation recommending this facility.

I went to STAR to rehab a hip replacement and some nerve damage in my left leg. Anthony Ruscitto, my PT, was very knowledgeable and skilled in both areas. I went in using a walker and today have complete mobility and use of my hip. I can highly recommend Anthony and STAR, from the nice reception workers at the front desk to the physical facilities and equipment. If you are looking for true professionals who care about results, this is the place.

STAR PT is THE "1 stop shop for all your body's needs!" 1st section of this review is "my story"; Skip to the end for other details about STAR PT.K, I'm a bit biased: I, myself, was a PT at STAR for 10 years. But, I'm a patient right now: bicipital tendinitis developed as a result of shoulder impingement/rotator cuff arthropathy. I couldn't use my arm worth squat, constant pain, and intense pain with attempted use. What I had tried/done failed. Grew very discouraged/depressed: Husband asked me when I was going to DO something about it (& stop complaining, lol). Saw my doc: He offered an injection, but I said, "PT first please, and I want to go to STAR." (don't want injections to jeopardize the integrity of my tendons, and STAR PT "only"!).Yes, a PT may need another PT to lift one up, illuminate the path, and lead the way to success! Highlighting Anthony for his awesomeness! I specifically requested Anthony because he was the only one who didn't "know me." I know the other therapists, and they are all excellent. In this case personally, I wanted to be "led" unbiasedly: without any consideration/assumption that I "should know" this or that since the others "know" I'm a PT.Visits 1 & 2 proved to me why you see a PT before injections/surgery: immediate positive impact! I experienced a set-back after the visit 3 - of the exact same nature as to why I was unsuccessful when I tried to rehab myself. Anthony got me past this in ways that I'd never thought of! Week 3: still progressing, and Anthony increased focus on other components of my body to ensure long-term success (YES, core/pelvic/hip/leg exercises for my shoulder problem!). 8th visit/re-evaluation: 80+% better! Able to swim freestyle without problems over 4th of July holidays, pain is SO much less (I can handle intermittent dull aching), I no longer hesitate to use my arm (though it's still quite weak), and I'm now asking questions about working out! Anthony is so awesome: He listens, instructs, educates, set goals, and puts the plan into place. Though (as a PT) I think I could "take over" independently at this point, I'm continuing because I want to return to 100% and want him to keep leading me to ensure success. I started a version of push-ups (um, 7 visits ago, this thought was ludicrous)! Anthony reviewed other activities/gym exercises to try (or avoid), reminded me of needed rest/recovery periods and signs of when to back-off/stop. I don't know if I'll need to update this review when I am 100%, because I'm now feeling like nothing's going to stop me from reaching my goals! & Yes, should I experience any "hiccup" from this point forward, Anthony will bring me beyond it (full confidence), but this is why I'm still going to STAR PT!My story, done.Extra info for y'all: More about STAR PT...Pilates classesWomen's & Men's HealthOn-site fabulous Massage Therapist who's also a PTACertified Hand Specialist OT (top 3% of BEST EVER)Custom hand/arm splintsCustom foot orthotics ("PRI" orthotics - SERIOUS improvement in my son's athletic performance and overall life - he won't go anywhere without them, including independently transferring them to his cleats & back)McKenzie, ART, FDM, Postural Restoration, and moreDry-needlingCold laser, Infrared, Ultrasound, E-stim, Traction, BioMatAncient Minerals Magnesium (oh, the incredible benefits of Magnesium!)Clinical center training student interns from accredited collegesHost site for continuing education coursesYeah, so OK to kinda call this a "plug" for STAR - but this review was not requested, not compensated, and ONLY because I LOVE THE RESULTS, STAR PT, and Anthony! For the better part of 2018-19, I have benefitted from the skilled and knowledgeable work of Kyle Marchand at Star Physical Therapy. Kyle is one of many skilled therapists at Star. He helped me rehab my replaced knee and a nagging hip problem. I am now back to hiking, Barre class, Tai Chi and Yoga. I highly recommend Star Physical Therapy for rehabilitation success.
