The only positive thing was that this place was close to our house otherwise its been a nightmare. We have had our locks cut (by mistake) been locked out, been asked to go check on our unit and every month we had billing issues. Cards being charged more than once, charged more than listed. Changing of promotions mid promotion and even at move out, you go online and process move out and they will still charge you the next month. SOOO BE AWARE!

This storage unit is 2 minutes from my house - that’s the only positive. Ownership changed and they installed a new gate that didn’t work right away. They raised rates 15% and my unit has had it locked cut 3 times. Each time they have no idea what happened and barely apologize. Never offer discount or refund for these issues. My unit was half open one time. It’s not a safe nor secure area to store stuff fortunately my business inventory doesn’t have a ton of value. I wouldn’t store anything of value here

They are working on updating the security on the premises, but my unit was broken into which lead me to remove my belongings and terminate my business

Well I'm not sure where to start this place is definitely quite different than what we are used to not necessarily a bad thing I just rented this with my husband a few days ago a 10 by 20 I might add that the unit is actually very clean and were quoted a very good rate this is my second time here it is currently 1:00 a.m. I need a 24-hour place due to my work schedule so I figured this place would be great I understand there's no electricity here however there is a wall plug on the corner outside of the units there's no sign saying that customers cannot use it and also I did not read anywhere where it says that we cannot plug in something like a light at night if need be because our unit is poorly lit especially being a 10x 20 show to our surprise we were going to plug in a short extension cord just so we can unpack our truck there's absolutely nobody here so we figured no harm no foul again there's no sign stating that we cannot use it as soon as I open the rain cover light star flashing all over the property of blaring alarm that I'm sure you can probably hear from here all the way to downtown stayed on for about 10 minutes we did not know who to call being Beth's place is contactless so that definitely startled us so I'm going to be calling tomorrow to talk to somebody about this I'm going to see if I can get out of our contract. It's just really hard define 24 hr. drive up access. However I just walked to the exit of the property and I just found the 14 rules posted on the wall and to no Surprise of course it does not say anything about not being able to use the outlet will be calling office tomorrow to see what we can do. Thank you I apologize if my review is all over the place I'm using speech to text and that alarm definitely just started my heart.

Beware of BAIT and SWITCH from Curio Storage. I rented a 5’/10’ unit February 1, 2024, for $75 a month. On April 1, I was notified that my rent would go up to $100 on May 1.
I wrote 3 emails suggesting there was an error, and they said it was corporate policy.
I wrote a negative review about this, and 1 hour later I got a call from corporate saying it was a mistake and they would hold my price. Then they said would I edit the review, so I did.
I just got my May statement, and now they have added mandatory insurance of $13 per month and prorated my April insurance.
This was never discussed when I rented, and not charged in February or March. Insurance should be their responsibility, or include it in the price, not add it 3 months later.
I will be vacating my unit immediately and find a more reputable storage place. I suggest you stay away.

They also falsified an exit of my lease agreement I didn't request nor agree to. Any customers that had property damage on outside lot April 20 -21 I have contact information for the class action involving this incident.

The rental process was fast and painless. Nina is very responsive and takes care of business quickly.I did not rent a unit for a long period of time here, rather in and out shortly. However everyone involved in the process made renting and exiting the rental easy and fair.Prices are good for this area. Slightly lower than their neighboring competition.Give them a call and get prices before you go with the storage units close by. Probably a better deal here.
