came here, but it looked very isolated and primitive. Was by myself so did not go more in depth of forest. Pretty remote. no one here.

Parked and entered at the intersection of Steck and Adirondack. It was a fun, self-guided experience. Definitely not a well-developed or crowded trail. We found some nice fossils that we normally couldn't on Shoal Creek.

It's beautiful but not as well maintained as other areas.
