My granddaughter attends Strickland Christian. She is a very bright and sweet. She is a great rule follower so Strickland is such a good fit for her. I believe that we should all expect a lot from our children and my granddaughter LOVES this school.

Couldn’t have asked for more in a school. Teachers are no-nonsense and run a tight ship, but kids learn at high speed and know they are loved and well taken care of... Well done Strickland!

This school is truly a gem! I have three children attending there and I am so glad we found this amazing school. Their curriculum is top notch and the teachers are kind and caring. All of my children have scored 2-3 grades higher then most children their age in standardized tests! Although my kids are intelligent, I must give most of the credit to Stricklands knowledgeable and engaging teachers! Another reason why we love this school is because it's Christ centered; something that was at the top of our list when searching for schools. The school does a fine job at teaching kids discipline and structure, some may view this as strict; however, there is a good balance. There are activities for the kids and a great community of families.

Strickland christian school is the best school in the whole Austin. My son who started in prek and now in 1st grade is more advanced. He reads like a 4th grader and he is more disciplined as compared to his peers. All the teachers who have taught him did a great job on him. They all did loved and cared for him to excel academically. Big-ups to Mrs Skirrow, Mrs Walls, Mrs Orneals and all great staff of this great school.God bless you for all what you do for these children.

I am an Austin area physician, and over the years, my kids have attended multiple private Christian schools in Austin. Some I've liked a lot, others not so much. Strickland is by far my favorite. Both the teachers and principal are kind and have sweet spirits. They are very caring. The education is both affordable and excellent. It is as good as at schools where I've paid $20,000+, at a fraction of the price. Unlike most public and some private schools, Strickland provides a very safe environment. I'm unaware of any incidents of drug or alcohol use, or any incidents of bullying. There is strong camaraderie amongst the students. The school is racially diverse, and there are many students of mixed races(including my children), allowing kids from different backgrounds to easily fit in. I would highly encourage anybody who is looking for an affordable Christ-centered school to consider Strickland Christian School.

Our kids have received a high level of education here at Strickland. The staff and adminstration is highly committed to having each child reach their potential. If you are looking for a faith based classical education that surpases anything in the area. This is the place.

Very pleased with this school. The students learn so much in just K4, the faculty and staff are the best, and the teachers are great with communication.

Good for academic. Not a heavy focus on spiritual or athletic.

Great school, my son is going into the second grade. He can do math up to and including multiplication and writes in cursive. They also have a nice music and Spanish language curriculum. The discipline was tough at first but my son's attitude and work ethic continue to improve. The teachers are very communicative and know their subjects well. In addition the principal is open and pleasant. As well as being honest about the children's progress. I would and do recommend Strickland Christian Academy to everyone I can.

My son started at Strickland in kindergarten (K5) when he was 5. He only knew his alphabets and knew the sounds of most of his alphabets. To my amazement in March, during his Spring break, merely six months later, I heard him read the Newspaper. Strickland is one of the cheapest private schools in Austin. If you ask high school students that have left Strickland to go to public schools, they would tell you that Strickland definitely prepared them academically. My child is loved and cared for. The teachers at Strickland love to teach and seem like they never have a bad day. He is part of a small classroom where he is getting individual attention. Above all, he is learning Biblical values that will stay with him for a lifetime. I am not constantly worrying about my child since I know he is in a safe place. I would recommend Strickland to anyone who is looking for a private school that is affordable, excels in academics and fosters Christian values.

We love Strickland. All 3 of our children have attended Strickland and have flourished academically. Our 20 yr old is now in Regents University, Our 17 yr old son is a senior making straight A's and our 6 year old can read, write in cursive and speak a little Spanish! She loves school and looks forward to going!

So very happy that our daughter is in this school. The classroom sizes are small which allows for more one on one attention. The academics are more advance than most schools due to the teaching methods. The methods are important because your child will be more advanced in their education, without being pushed too hard to attain that level. My daughter memorizes scripture, is already starting to read short words and she's only in K4. The teachers are nice and supportive and really care for the kids.
