I'm sure it was a nice hotel. We didn't get to stay there. We arrived late, around 11 pm and when I went to check in, the girl at the front desk said that they gave our room to someone with money. We reserved this room with a credit card. And she was really nasty and disrespectful. I'm not the kind of person who wishes someone should lose their job, but she deserves to lose her job. She didn't even try to accommodate us. Pretty much said they were sold out. I hope she gets left out on the street, the way she left us without a place to stay.
Noteworthy details: Not very nice front desk

The pictures of this place are totally inaccurate!!!! It is a 2 star hotel. Having said that I would stay here again if I had to. Keep expectations low and you won't be disappointed.

Headboards and room needs to get fumigated. In our 2 nights that we stay and we’re in the room we counted 5 roaches. Didn’t feel like a vacation.

Yea this is a somewhat scary highway style motel with a sassy front desk manager. Just avoid altogether and save yourself the creepy crawlies.

We checked in to out room the roaches ran when the light came on.The guy at the front desk offered a new room. We took it because it was 11pm. When we arrived from WNC. The second room also had roaches, they said it was because it was old. The rude night guy offered a refund or another room. I said a refund. He then said 5 to 7 days for a refund. By now it is almost 1130pm. We are tired from driving and we now don't have a room. Please don't ever stay here

This roach motel is in a great location—otherwise, it has nothing going for it. In all, I stayed here for three weeks with a break in between. The first part of my stay was adequate—room was dirty when I checked in, but I cleaned it and then had no problems.
However, I should not have come back! While the front desk staff for my first stay were nice, the two men who “helped” me during my second stay could not have been more rude and unhelpful. When I checked in, the man implied that I was homeless (which I am not—I’m in Austin for work). The room he put me in already had many, many occupants: a large family of German cockroaches. I kept all my possessions in bins throughout the week—wanted to switch rooms immediately (this room was also dirty when I checked in), but I work 13-hr days, so I put off the switch till the weekend.
When I went back to the office a few days later to switch rooms and extend my stay, the little man at the front desk was incredibly rude and unhelpful. He said that I couldn’t switch rooms, even after I explained about the roach problem (2-5 sighted each day). He couldn’t have cared less.
Then I decided to do laundry—machines are run on an annoying app that requires a 5.00 minimum payment, and even the dryers are 3.00 each—but when I returned to switch everything over, the door was locked! So I trudged back to the office and spoke to the rude man again. He said that the door was locked because they were cleaning it. It’s literally a 4X7 room—no need to lock it while it’s being cleaned. I told him that I was in the middle of doing laundry. He shrugged. I asked when the cleaning would be finished (there was noone in the laundry room) and he said that, since he wasn’t the person cleaning it, he had no idea when it would be finished. He was extremely rude and sarcastic.
I travel quite a lot, and this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel. Roaches are one thing (bad enough), but consistently treating customers like trash is unforgivable.
I will never return to this location.

You get what you pay for and this place shouldn’t even be as “much” as it is - Terrible experience! We checked into our first room, which reeked of smoke, so we had to request a different one. The second room seemed fine at first (nothing special, but we weren't expecting much), but after returning from dinner, we saw a roach. To make matters worse, the front desk staff was rude and completely inhospitable. They didn't have any extra pillows, blankets, or towels and were just not helpful at all. We immediately asked for a refund and checked into the Hilton next door. Avoid this place!

By far, the worst check in experience ever. Arriving at 3pm, the doors were locked . After 20min of waiting in the heat, the front desk guy,( Robert - I believe) unlocks the doors. We walk in to check in and Robert is clearly having a bad day. He was rude, unprofessional and dismissive. On top of that, a liar. He denied my check in, claiming he would accept cancelation with no charges. Which was a lie. Hopefully management sees this review and fires him. He does not represent studio 6 in a positive manner.

Well to start rooms are supposed to have a kitchenette but 2 time that happens that the little stove doesn't work also they are supposed to have wifi service but in the 3 weeks that im been staying here the wifi is not working like it goes away every 10 seconds idk if management is just stealing the Internet from one of the nearby businesses or studio 6 just dont care about their customers and make sure the wifi works properly because even the taco stands here in austin provide wifi for their customers why wont a prolonged stay motel wouldn't
Rooms: The kitchenette that was the main thing we decided to stay in studio 6 wasn't working

I’d like to say that Mr. Robert @ the front desk was very PROFESSIONAL and he was very efficient in handling my check in. He greeted me with a ‘Good Morning’ and a huge smile.

Great family vacation hotel highly recommend rooms are kept nice and clean and up to date as far as the staff the are very polite and professional especially this one employee in particular I believe his name was Robert he had a great sense of humor and made sure that me and my family felt welcomed and we had everything we needed for our stay , he even pointed out some places near by for family events to enjoy on our trip . Highly recommended
Food and drinks: There is a few places near by to grab a bite to eat and a few drinks

Great place to stay rooms were clean , staff were very nice and professional especially for this one staff member in particular i believe the name was robert he made sure we had everything we needed for our stay .
Nearby activities: Fiesta Texas 6 Flags is near by and was a great experience for me and my family
Food and drinks: There is a few restaurants near by that were spectacular.
