Staff was friendly, room was clean, nothing was broken. However we reserved our room a week in advance and were not able to get into our room until almost 6pm. We arrived right at check in, they gave other rooms to walk ups it seemed. Had we arrived late I would understand giving our room to someone else. Not as nice as some other Studio 6's, nor as safe as anyone can drive around. I would have expected some compensation as we did not have the room for the full time that we paid for it, but we did not receive any.

Stayed here for 21 months (paid nearly $40K for the privilege). This was the least expensive and tolerable place two years ago. Small rooms for "studios", BIG bug problem. They "renovated" some rooms. made us move to one. It was smaller and they raised the rate.Friday before last, I paid $896 for two weeks. I went out of town on business. On Saturday, they kicked my girlfriend (and me) out for some trumped up reason. Again, we had been there nearly two years. Nothing had changed. I was out of town and she had to move everything - immediately. To make matters worse, they refuse to refund any of the $896 I paid them. I will definitely be hauling them into small claims court over that. My next stop after this review is the Better Business Bureau.Save your money and the headache - stay ANY PLACE else!Rooms: Small rooms. Roach problem.Safety: One of the worst neighborhoods in Austin. Vandal broke my car's rear windshield. There were others. Frequent auto break-ins.Walkability: No store closer than half a mile.

No room service, no courtesy. They do INSPECTIONS for rooms. First hotel ever, thats ever done inspections lmfao. They acuse people of smoking in rooms when you dont even smoke anything at all. The rooms come smelling of smoke so its more so a trap. The staff at the desk is most of the time awesome i dont know what is wrong with this hotels management.

This was a cheap option and it's fine if you don't expect anything fancy. There were some issues, in my room the toilet was not bolted down properly and rocked back and forth when sitting on it. Nothing major as it still worked. The fridge and ac are loud, so bring earplugs. The room had everything I needed and was tidy but not spotless. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. However, the shower curtain was a bit disgusting. The staff was friendly and helpful. The outside walkways and staircases were dirty and old. There are several restaurants and a target nearby.

This place isn't too bad if you can get it for less than 60 bucks a night. Our room had a leaky faucet and the air conditioner made a horrendous noise all night. The rooms have a nice set up with a stove and a medium sized refrigerator. It was defiantly PET FRIENDLY, we brought our dog and seen a lot of others too.Safety: I first sight it looks a little un safe but we had absolutely no problems and it was a quiet stay.

I was discriminated by one of the male workers, because I was smoking a cigarette outside the door of my room wearing swim trunks with a bath towel covering them. He implemented in his system that I’m no longer allowed to rent there. And when he had approached me I was already finished with my cigarette and about to te-enter my room. I told home I wasn’t going to argue with him.

The manager Ana, at this location is amazing, the site is clean / the staff is amazing and very professional, I had a issue with my door and went to the office when I returned. The maintenance man, who is very on top of things .Was already on the job before I got back to room. The front desk employees Robert and other are amazing . Very professional and polite and helpful. I'm very pleased with my stay . Ana and her staff are very timely and organized...... I recommend this location

Never Again. There were several issues with this hotel. First, the lobby is not open 24 hours, which means that in the morning when you wanted to do laundry, you had to wait until 9:00 for someone to unlock the room. There was also no one around when I went to check out. Second, on at least one occasional, a staff left with the key to the laundry room (only one key?) and the front office was unable to unlock the room for use. Third, the cockroaches were horrible! I bought roach killer and had to spray the room every day and still had roaches running around in the night and mornings. The best thing I can say about the hotel is that the bed was comfortable.

One of your better options in terms of price. Rooms were clean and stocked with enough supplies. Restaurants were at a walking distance. It's located in a nice area and it's close to downtown. Overall, I would definitely stay there again.

Literally the WORST experience I have ever had. And I've been staying at hotel all over the country since I was 12 years old moving around as an army brat so I've had time to see a lot of different styles of service and this IS NOT IT. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DO YOUR BUSINESS WITH ROBERT. He's a confused 5 foot 2 inch Hispanic male with short black hair and glasses. Has drunken bar tattoos on his elbows/arms as well. This guy is purposely losing Motel 6 money, and he's reaping the benefits of living there FOR FREE while costing the business clients and reputation. Motel 6 obviously does not care about the way their employees treat their customers at the end of the day. As long as they still have someone willing to work, they couldn't care less how the business is seen by perspective customers. The manager Ana will work with you if Robert doesn't interfere. Honestly, without Robert working there, everything was great! Stayed there for 3 months right up until Robert decided it was a good idea to call Ana (manager) and persuade her to kick us out LITERALLY IN FRONT OF ME as I was picking up the updated keys for my room. He couldn't just allow my wife get the keys, no, he forced us to get a late fee, charged us an additional day, and made my wife wait until I got off work after 6 pm. She waited for me since 8 am. He used that scheme he pulled to persuade Ana and (like a caring responsible manager) she just went along with whatever was being whispered into her ear and allowed him to do whatever he wanted to just leave her alone (she was tryingnto grocery shop while he kept trying to call her to make his scheme more believable.. Robert even went to the length of calling the police on us because I would not leave the office without an explanation and a refund for the full week I paid and that HE was trying to screw me out of. Had I not had a recording that cop wouldn't have yelled at Robert to give us our refund already and to stop behaving like that. Apparently Officer Hutchinson has been dealing with Robert for THREE YEARS and Motel 6 has still allowing such an amoeba to continue sucking their business dry with adequate subpar service and menacing schemes. Honestly I know Motel 6 won't do anything about it but saying "our apologies for the service you received we do not condone that blah blah blah" they aren't really going to fire the guy. This is the fourth report I make so we will see. My wife made her own reports to Motel 6 corporate but still no progress.. this business really does not care, and it shows.P.S. still have a police car opened against Robert for what he has done.

Horrible customer service! This place was great and convenient. The front desk guy, I believe his name was “Robert”, or something with an R. Early thirties Hispanic guy, looks a little older tho, is extremely rude and disrespectful. Doesn’t have good customer service and it’s felt that he takes his problems out on guests. Very unfortunate because I was an ongoing customer here, while looking for a place in Austin. I will be sure to tell ppl to avoid this place, plenty of other cheap hotels where you’ll receive way better service. My dog also got fleas from their grass area for the pups. ?

On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the room was reasonably clean. However, we did book this hotel specifically to have access to a kitchenette during our stay, but when we arrived we were informed that the kitchens in the rooms are not stocked with cookware if you are staying less than seven days (we were there for 5). This was frustrating and should have been better advertised. Otherwise, it's a fine low budget option.

Basic rooms, but that is to be expected in this price range. The towels and sheets were clean and smelled fresh and clean. The entire room was cleaner and felt better than other hotels in this price range. Robert at the front desk was fantastic and went above and beyond to fix an issue the hotel itself wasn't at fault for (Hotel 6 reservations and Customer Care caused the issue). Convenient location with easy access to downtown. Great food options in walking distance. Ample parking. Well lit exterior with lots of security cameras. We felt safe on property and walking to get food. I gave 4 stars for room due to some minor issues, but to be fair we didn't make the hotel staff aware of them until after check out, however I am sure Robert would have addressed the issues had he been made aware.Rooms: Clean, basic, budget rooms. Towels and sheets were spotless and smelled fresh.Nearby activities: Close to downtown and everything you could possibly need.Safety: Well lit, lots of cameras. We felt safe.Walkability: Several businesses in walking distance. Mostly food.Food & drinks: Several restaurants in walking distance. Vending in office. Kitchenette in room.Noteworthy details: Robert at the front desk was fantastic. I can’t say enough about his kindness.
