They just suck at there job

Where do I begin? First, I booked through Uhaul well over a month ago. I didn't find tons of reviews, so I chose them. I figured they had to be good. I was not correct.I just went to look for something in my container at Uhaul and my stuff literally fell out of the storage container! It looked like one of those TV shows where you have a surprise guest and you throw the stuff in the front closet! Livid does not describe my emotion adequately! Even the people at Uhaul were shocked. They said they'd not seen a container look like ours EVER!The communication... awful. The older guy is rude. I already can tell my belongings are going to be damaged and they haven't even left the state yet. I give one star because the younger guy was pleasant and actually spoke to us and listened. The older man, couldn't be bothered.We are scheduled to drive long distance in two days. We needed tomorrow to do all of the last minute things. Instead, it will be spent unpacking and repacking a storage container (that we paid somebody to do). I so could've just done it myself. Ugh!Do yourself a massive favor: find somebody else. Find somebody who will care about your things. Find somebody who will respect your time and property (or at the very least pretend). This is a sh*t show! A waste of dollars and energy and time that we actually need to get the rest of our moves taken care of and say goodbyes.

We hired Sun West through Uhaul to pack our truck. We called every day a week prior to our move and received their voice-mail multiple times; when we did finally get a hold of someone they'd tell us they'd call back when they were done with their job and we never received a call back. We finally got to have a conversation three days before our move and he confirmed our time (10am) and said he'd call back for more details but never did.On the day of our move when no one showed at 10 we called and they stated they went to a different job because we never confirmed our move. They ended up coming two hours later which put the majority of our final day cleaning behind.3 hours into our 14 hour trip we checked on our belongings as they were packed haphazardly without consideration to fragile items. We have just unpacked half of our truck (which we had planned on avoiding as my spouse had back surgery at the beginning of this year) we've already tallied multiple damages of our belongings. We hired Sun West through Uhaul and are super disappointed with the entire experience. We attempted to contact Sun West a week prior to our move and always got voicemail; when we did get a hold of someone they'd tell us they were at a job and would call back but never followed through. On the day of our move they didn't show up. When we called they stated we didn't confirm our move and went to a different job instead. They arrived a few hours later which put most of our cleaning behind as well. They were quick but they weren't considerate at all of our belongings. 3 hours into our 14 hour trip we checked in our belongings and ended up having to throw some of our things away (the pictured frame had left shattered glass inside the truck). My spouse had back surgery earlier this year and we hired movers to avoid heavy lifting. We ended up reloading the truck with plenty of space to spare. Originally the truck was packed so full items fell on us when we opened it. Can't believe we spent so much money to have to end up doing the job ourselves all while having to dispose of personal belongings. Dreading opening our boxes as we arent sure how much might be damaged inside.

Guys were clean, pleasant and came prepared. They did a good job loading and unloading. They also helped me with a few things that I couldn't handle because of size and weight. Could have done a better job putting the stuff in storage to make better use of the space I will have to go back and redo this. Everything was done in less than their allotted time. They worked quickly and efficiently. To my knowledge, nothing was broken or lost.

I originally said my appointment for a week earlier and call to reschedule when I called I was told that I would get a call back to see if they will be able to move my appointment sooner. that was three days ago I have yet to receive a call back I've gone ahead and cancelled and I will never use this company again I suggest no one else uses this company due to their unprofessionalism and their untimely manner of actually answering calls.

We have used Sun west movers twice now and have absolutely loved them! Very careful and fast! They don’t waste any time. They were on time and very polite!

Definitely the worst moving company I've ever used. The 2 gentleman were not on time and moved slowly. I only booked for 2 hours and was told anything after I would just be charged extra. But NOPE as soon as the 2 hours was up the man told me " our time is up and we have to go there are "some" boxes left and happy New year". Me and my dad had to finish unloading the truck with 40 boxes!!! And all they had to do was unload the truck! They had a dolly but didn't stack boxes on them to take to the 2nd floor instead they brought one box at a time. Will not be using them again.

I am truly amazed at their efficiency and the careful way they moved my stuff from a 20 ft U-Haul into my apartment. I'm amazed because it took 6 grown men - including myself- an hour to transfer my stuff from the 2nd story from my prior apartment, and it took Crandall and his son Clarence 2 hours and 45 minutes to efficiently move all our belongings into our new apartment which is on the 3rd story. They are true professionals at their craft and their prices are very reasonable. Thank you Sunwest movers!!!
