I purchased Gucci sunglasses at the Sunglass Hut before the Austin Gucci store opened. Within a few months the Gucci emblem started popping off. Sunglass Hut said I had to call Gucci but Gucci said they can only replace both ear pieces at a cost of MORE than the glasses sell for. Ridiculous. Bad design and bad customer service from both stores.

I purchased lenses from a different store (sunglass hunt) but was in the area. I gave the person my story. sunglass hut said you could not return lenses, and the lenses are final sales, but the receipt does not say final sale, and this was not mentioned.Story"I asked if the lenses were polarized, and she said yes. Once the product came in, the lenses were not polarized."

Staff here were well-informed about their products. They were helpful and went the extra mile to adjust my husband’s Persol’s while we shopped for new glasses. The store was well-stocked with the new Ray-Ban Chromance line!

It is never easy for me to get a pair of sunglasses that actually suits me. I had done my research but I really wanted a second opinion. Marilyn went above and beyond to help me out. Long story short, walked out with two pairs.

Honor or fix your hours. It's super annoying to drive up from South Austin and see your doors locked an hour before you are supposed to be closed.

Nothing against customer service - the staff was friendly and lovely. However, I spent a great deal of time picking out between a few pairs of brown tinted sunglasses that are Tiffany &Co...only to find out that there were none in stock and I would end up purchasing the display one. If I'm going to splurge $468+ on a pair of shades, I definitely don't want the display pair that has been worn and touched by many...Unfortunately, the system was down and the staff couldn't even order a new one. Again, staff was great but the infrastructure and inventory might need some work here. I walked out empty handed and disappointed that I wasted my time.

I was very impressed with how helpful and patient the manager Eric was. He went out of his way to contact other stores and secure an exact replacement for damaged glasses of mine. He promptly followed up and kept me updated. He also adjusted another pair of glasses that I had gotten. I can’t recommend sunglass hut and Eric enough. This one was by far one of the best retail experiences I’ve had in recent memory.. from the purchase day all the way to helping me the warranty.

Staff told the San Marcos location when I was there that they had the sunglasses I was looking for and would hold them for me. Drove all the way there and bought them without inspecting them and later found them to be the incorrect lenses. I informed the staff of the error and they said I could return them. Purchased the correct pair directly from Ray-Ban online. When I went to return the incorrectly purchased pair, I was first told that they didn't make what I was looking for. I shared that I had bought them already, they just said "oh". When I attempted to return the pair, they refused to accept the return due to a very small scratch on one of the lenses. I never wore them. I suggest you just buy direct to avoid this nonsense. Used to spend about $500/year at Sunglass Hut, now I'm never going back.

Went to return sunglasses I didn't even wear because there apparently was a scratch on them. The associate pointed out where the scratch was and after very careful examination, I could not see it. If I had to guess, the associate likely didn't want to make the return due to the process or some unknown penalty. I bought the pair 2 days prior and left them in the box. Maybe my eyes aren't trained to see the scratches but I'm doubtful and equally surprised that what appear to be perfect lenses are unable to be returned. This is compounded by the fact that she did not even engage me while I was browsing initially, the only other person in the store. I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt but this one just feels wrong.

My daughter and I really like the Sunglass Hut at the Domain. Pleasant staff and helpful. We like that they keep the sunglasses we tried on clean. Nice generations apart can shop in the same Sunglass Hut. Studies show that wearing polarized sunglass lenses with UV protection from cataracts can prevent blindness. Thank you!

I've been a loyal sunglasses hut customer since around 2010 or so. On this most recent visit I went in to get my oakley square frame sunglasses adjusted. They got all bent out of shape on a hiking trip. I went to a sunglasses hut in Spain (which is where I got my sunglasses bent) and they couldn't fix them but this sunglasses hut could!
