I love Tam and hope it never goes away. I've been dozens of times and always get the banh mi (#14). I see people eating other dishes that look great, but I can't bring myself to try anything but the banh mi because it's exactly what I want. It's always a highlight of my week to see Art behind the counter.

So excited we found this best kept secret of a restuarant! Every single dish I've tried here so far is delicious. Every detail, every flavor is carefully and precisely delivered with such care. Even the pot stickers had the perfect combination of crispy shell and flavorful pork.I've traveled a lot and tried several different Pho soups. This pho was very unique and probably the best I've ever had. The char grilled pork Bahn mi was hands down incredible. It's the kind of food you cannot wolf down, each bite has so much complex delicious flavor. We are excited to try more!

Not the usual type of banh mi you see around town -- I feel like the sandwiches here tend toward the thicker, messier side -- you pay a little more but it's still one of the best banh mi places in town. If you're still hungry for some reason, try the fritters or the pancake, or just get some dessert since they're also a bakery.

My favorite lunchtime spot!!! The spring rolls are amazing. My "Go To's" are the Grilled Lemon Grass beef salad, Wonton, Shrimp, Pork & Crab Rice Noodle soup & the Rice Vermicelli with Egg Rolls & Pork. Art & his team are a great, fun and joyous group.

This is our favorite Vietnamese spot in Austin! Everything on the menu is incredible, and the staff are very kind and attentive. We usually order the wonton soup, bahn mi, vermicelli, and noodle soup.

This is a strange little place that I'm amazed has existed for seven years. The food was okay, but there were several quirks worthy of mention.First, only the elderly owner speaks English it seems. While the other staff try, they just have not learned the language yet and it's very difficult to understand what they're trying to say. I'm very accustomed to conversing with English as a second language speakers, but this was a little absurd.Secondly, the "chicken pho" is made with a beef broth and seems to have a combination of chicken and pork meat.Third, the peanut sauce for the spring rolls was pre-mixed with a large amount of Indonesian sambal making it very spicy. They should allow their customers to mix the sambal according to their own preference. It's like the people working in this restaurant really don't know what they're doing, really don't understand the market, and really aren't concerned with the Impressions they make on their customers. Strange indeed.

The old gentleman is nice. Food is not good. Jicama spring rolls, ‘bo bia’, has no jicama in it, and they are not ‘Bo bia’ at all. Sandwiches are such a disappointment. I don’t think they used the baguette that vietnamese sandwiches normally use. They are not flaky but too soft.
