I shop here 3-4 days a week. I love how close it is to campus. I have always had a good experience but, today there was a minor situation that warranted speaking with Vivianna, the manager. She took care of the situation, made it right & then some. With good customer service being hard to find these days. It really stands out when I find exceptional customer service. Thank you, & Target will continue to be my go to store.

Check your receipts since the prices on the shelfs are often inaccurate and don't ring up correctly, especially if they're supposed to be marked down for a promotion. The staff at the front will try and tell you that the product you have isn't included in the promotion and almost never bother to go and check the shelf pricing themselves.

A nice, if slightly overpriced mini-Target right in the drag - - on the bottom floor of the Dobie Student Housing midrise. Sometimes it's hard to find an associate who can answer your questions, or to find one at all occasionally. Still a good, convenient spot.

Small store, very close to the campus. The selection is somewhat tailored to students. Requires more variety though.

If your products are guarded by the police, you are the police. Target sucks

Small Target store right across the street from the UT campus. They have a little bit of most of the essentials. An ok grocery department with even some produce and meat. Beer selection is a bit light by Austin standards.

Prices are high and the place is a warzone full of misguided freshmen in the early weeks of Fall Semester so you can't even buy anything.

Store was generally well run, however the management in general has been awful. Sunny specifically had been very rude and unhelpful when assisting customers. I'd recommend going to the target on 5th Street if you can.

The store is nice and the staff friendly and helpful, However it’s complicated to find parking on Whitis Street. I am from out of town. There is a 30 minute parking but inconvenient if you have to shop longer. The staff informed me that you can park in high rise parking garage/lot, however, there is no announcement on the building indicating parking for “Target.” In addition the public parking building is ticketless and you have to pay with a credit card with no instructions for parking for Target. Target staff was very kind to explain for parking you need to pay with the credit card and st the store they provide a voucher/ ticket that can be inserted into the machine as you leave. If you are not familiar with the area it’s hard to figure out. You may want to consider the parking arrangement on 901 East 5th Steet by Cesar Chavez Street in Austin. Their parking garage indicates/ announces it’s for Target and it provides a ticket you can use to validate parking. There are better instructions there.

I've been shopping here for 3: years and everything has been great. Appreciate their customer service as everyone has always been very helpful. If, I can't find something, all I have to do is ask. They keep the store clean. It is a small Target when comparing it to the others but, usually have everything I need. Maybe some more ramen flavors but, I realize space is limited.Keep up the great work!

Bottom Line: A dumpy Target with a limited selection and very little parking but there is a Starbucks. While staying in Austin my friends and I went to this Target to get some groceries, sunscreen and such. Our first challenge was finding a parking spot that we didn't have to pay for. We could 15 minute parking and them walked through an abandoned lot to the very lack luster entrance. My immediately impression was that this reminded me of the Target from the early 1990s that competed with Kmart. The ceilings are low and the selection was limited but I would say, basically being located on the UT campus, the inventory is probably targeted to stuff college kids needs you know like ramen noodles and storage tubs. The one bright spot was that there was a Starbcucks inside and after our morning errands we were ready for coffee.

It is a good store for students, fair prices. In general, good customer service. From time to time they have good bargains.
