Took my Mercedes because shifter and transmission were stuck. I got quoted $780 to fix it. I authorized the work order and after driving it 50 miles, I experienced the same issues. I took it here because I needed a professional fix not a guess.

This place is a joke. Told me so many different prices. Had me order my own parts then they jacked up labor. Customization fees. I think i heard 4 different price and still surprised by the bill. Then added oil and headlight and charged me didn’t even ask. Customer service is great they smile in your face and screw you for every penny. Won’t recommend these guys probably won’t honor there warranty i bet. Seems there broke and need the extra money or something 🤷🏽♂️ pretty sure these other reviews are fake.

This is THE Mercedes shop to go to in Austin. My 2007 CLK was refused by other shops for being “too old” but TCM gladly took my money ?In all seriousness Nate is super friendly and communicative. Tony is a Mercedes wizard - they take care of classics and new alike and are always willing to explain what they think is needed and what can be held off which is rare in a luxury auto shop! These are true Mercedes enthusiasts and I couldn’t recommend them enough to anyone in the area!

No one loves the expense and inconvenience of car trouble. But from the initial call to pickup, Tony and Nate’s expertise, professionalism and exceptional service make the process seamless and painless. Top-notch people and operation, with fair prices. Highly recommend.

Nathan and Tony at TCM are amazing. Nathan is incredibly friendly, communicative, and thorough - while Tony is insightful and takes the time to walk you through (in detail) any questions you may have. I take my classic MB here and they're one of the few shops in town willing to work on it. Their rates are reasonable, and I really appreciate their attention to detail and thoroughness.

I recently bought a 100k mile 2015 E350 wagon from a national dealership chain. Since it came with a third-party warranty, I took it to TCM Werkshop for an independent inspection to see if there was anything the dealership missed that I could have fixed under warranty. They worked up a list of existing issues, along with recommended maintenance and preemptive fixes for common failures. The crew is friendly, and they patiently handled the annoying warranty claim process and managed to get a ton of stuff covered. My car was in the shop for several weeks, but I think they moved a quickly as possible given that they had to run on the warranty company's timeline, and they regularly sent updates via text. All the work done seems good, the car drives great. I'll update here if that changes, but as of now I'm looking forward to having TCM care for this car as long as I have it--they've been great to deal with.If you're using a third-party warranty company, be aware that TCM's labor rates might be higher than the national averages that your warranty company will reimburse you for, resulting in you having to pay some out of pocket. In my opinion, you get what you pay for. Tony and crew found issues that the MB dealership missed, like worn motor mounts. They also pointed out a common failure with the front drive shaft on the 4MATIC system that they'd seen destroy the engines of several E350 wagons recently so that I could plan to fix it before it destroyed mine. Personally, I'm more than happy to pay a bit more to have talented, independent experts tell me how to get my car to 200k miles with preventative maintenance. It's clear that the folks at TCM are passionate about keeping your Mercedes on the road for as long as possible, so if that's your goal, these are your people.

After having my ‘87 560 SL at another shop in town for almost 6 weeks of a diagnosis attempt, the experienced crew at TCM was able to quickly diagnose and repair I notoriously difficult car within a week. I will forever be a vocal advocate and passionate customer due to their knowledge, communication and honesty.

Useless. Unable to diagnose an issue with Mercedes. Charged for non-diagnosis and came up with a completely nonsensical "take it to the MB dealer because we don't know how to fix it" Turns out it was a relay. This is not rocket science. RUN away from this place.

I had new glow plugs installed, while I waited on my Mercedes Sprinter, Winnebago View. It’s been 5 months and had absolutely no issues. Very well equipped clean shop and professionally trained mechanics, would highly recommend

This place is RAD. Apparently it’s close to impossible to find a reliable and honest mechanic anywhere. I’m extremely lucky that I stumbled upon TCM Werkshop. Stellar customer service. They are friendly, helpful, caring, and HONEST. Which is incredibly rare. 10/10 ?

If you own a classic Mercedes-Benz, I would comfortably recommend this great shop; outstanding customer care and high-quality, thorough, clean work. I have had an idling issue on my 1986 560SL MB, ever since I moved to Austin, TX, late last year. It got worse after another shop worked on it and charged me over $1K. The team at TCM Werkshop, which came highly recommended by a very respected MB mechanic, not only fixed that issue, gave me a good understanding of what will need to be fixed in the future and fixed a loose electric controls panel on my dashboard. Thank you TCM Werkshop! -HaraldService: Auto engine tuning

Repaired my car in two hours. If you have the common injector issues of old Mercedes/sprinter Vans, they can get it taken care of. No other mechanic shop around here would do a simple thread repair on my car's injector hold down bolt..Now I'm back on the road and no issues.

If you own a Mercedes - this IS the place to go for repairs and advice. I recently purchased a 2004 E500 and after a month, I started having some issues. I took it to Tony's shop and he, along with his mechanics, did a complete and thorough, bumper to bumper diagnosis outlining the issues they found. They were able to put the issues in order of importance so I could budget for the repairs that are needed. The employees were completely honest, knowledgeable, very detailed and courteous. I have found it difficult to find repair shops that don't try and take advantage of you when you're a woman......SO HAPPY I found TCM Werkshop!!Service: Steering & suspension repair
