Violates Austin Ordinance §13‑7‑32 and Texas Code §2308 — boot applied by an unlicensed person with no safety vest, which makes it unlawful.
Took them to court and won $1,445.

Genuinely evil and heartless people. I parked my car for 10 seconds to pick up food and they put two boots on it. He made me pay $100 to take them off. There was a million open parking spots in their lot. If there is a God I pray he strikes this business down.

Take LEGAL action - their TDLR license is under Enforcement hold and should be operating legally if your car was towed today July 27, 2025Beware the parking scam at this store. Austin Express Towing TDLR# 005507343C - check TDLR.Texas.gov Even though I parked in an approved spot and went in the store to shop they booted my car which was happening to three other people while I was there, police and a car was being towed so I made sure to check where I parked. Even though the store confirmed on their video I was entering to shop. They're using a homeless man in regular clothes to facilitate this and out boots on the cars within seconds of parking. Extortion is real.

Disgusting nasty tow company terrorizing local residents for no reason. I honestly hope the guy running the tow business at your Texaco falls off a cliff. Y’all didn’t tow me, I just think people like you all are the scum of the earth and are complete worthless pieces of trash. Have fun with with your 1 star review’s. Austin hates Texaco.

I hate you. I ran in to Phoebes to grab an order for uber eats FOR 1 MINUTE and my car got booted. I'm a mom trying to support my kids and now in debt another $100. You should be ashamed of yourself for the way you treat people. KARMA WILL GET YOU EVENTUALLY.
