I’ve really enjoyed living at Copeland. The community feels safe and the grounds are always clean and beautifully maintained. The common areas actually look like the pictures, which is rare. They also had thoughtful move in gifts and good specials which was a nice surprise. The parking is super safe too.
The management team has been great to work with. Alex helped me through the move in process and made everything easy. And John from maintenance is the best. He responds quickly and takes care of things without any hassle.
Overall, it’s a beautiful place to live with a team that actually cares. I would definitely recommend it.

If 0 stars was an option that would be given. Do not live here! Horrible communication and action from management and that could result in costly consequences. My car was broken into and it has never been broken into before, the gate to the garage was almost always left open, amenities that you continue to pay for are not fixed for very long periods of time, numerous issues with air conditioning and leaking (which they will not clean up after fixing then charge you for minor cleaning at move out), packages stolen, you name it. Would not recommend to anyone to live here.

Over the weekend, I visited a friend who had recently moved into a new apartment. I loved her place, especially the small backyard that made it feel like home. Many other apartments have a back sliding door, but not a true backyard. Her place also had a great view of the Austin FC soccer stadium from the roof, and the pool was amazing. Everything was nice and well-maintained.

The Copeland is great!!! The maintenance team here has exceeded my expectations. They are very responsive and quick to resolve my maintenance requests. It’s extremely helpful that the maintenance team also explains any work being done and the reasoning. I’ve had 0 issues with the Copeland since moving in and love it here :)

If they can make 2 violations of our lease and be okay with that, on top of insulting their residents with enough problems caused by them, then this apartment complex should be held to the lowest of standards.
We had made several maintenance requests to fix a leak that had been causing a bad stain in our shower. We are aware that A/C pipes leak sometimes, but this leak never stopped and leaked a yellow/orange substance. Our first request was made back in April, and the problem hadn’t stopped after multiple requests after that. When maintenance would come, by the end of the day, it was back to the same bad stain, because of how much the pipe would leak. We did our best to clean daily/weekly, we were told to just keep cleaning it. We went through countless cleaning products and electric scrubbers to stay consistent with the leak and our cleaning. On top of that, we noticed a bad effect on our health and realized that there was mold starting to grow on the ceiling. Right after we saw the mold, we sent an email to management about all these issues and how this mold has been affecting our health. Because of this we wanted to adhere to section 15 paragraph 4 on our lease because this is a violation made on their part. The mold is a health hazard and all of this was caused by maintenance not being able to fix the issue at hand after multiple service requests. After notifying the office of all of this, they came into our apartment without letting us know. Our request and notification of these issues did not give the authority for maintenance to come in and try to fix the issue without notice. We were not present when maintenance came in, nor did we have the time to receive that email and be present. Within 10 minutes of that email my partner was home and the stain and drip were removed and worked on without our knowledge. We were asked if the stain/issue was in the same condition of those pictures that were sent that day, but when we arrived, everything was gone. No one notified us when they came and when they left. No note was left anywhere in our apartment that maintenance was in here. Not until way after we had arrived is when they informed us that they were in our apartment. This was a violation of paragraph 14 in our lease. We understand that maintenance can come in here in case of an emergency, but if it were an emergency, this would have been fixed the first four times. We did not feel comfortable with this whole situation along with not feeling safe in a building that has mold. We sent management this information and they responded with possible remedies. But not only did they respond with remedies, they had to insult us as well. Pamela Cambel, community manager, had to say that we could have avoided such a stain by cleaning regularly. When that was something that was already being done. We are very clean people, that is why we made this issue known and we were told to also keep cleaning. We did not appreciate such comments coming from a community manager. We don’t trust maintenance to fix an issue right away, there is clearly mold growing in the building, and management has the need to insult their residents.
This is our first negative review, this is a nice looking place to live in with a great location. So this is very disappointing with having worked in a leasing office myself.

It’s one of the nicest apartments complex, in Austin, Tx there’s different reasons::
Good location, it’s next door to the AFC stadium and near by Domain area
Good customer service respond , with maintenance issues, and the property cleanliness ?

ONE OF THE WORST, BEWARE:
It’s been one month since I made the mistake of moving to The Copeland. As Im writing this review, this frequent pool fly has his JBL boombox at the pool and it’s echoing throughout my apartment for HOURS!!!!! Not considerate of anyone that lives in the area. There is no courtesy patrol here or any specific enforcement.
There has been several crime events reported. The one I’m most concerned about and aware of happened just a few steps away from my apartment on the 1st floor (image of vandalized door & police report from this specific incident attached in photo).
Another HUGE issue I’ve encountered is an infestation of ants and saw a few roaches in my apartment. I’m beyond disgusted with this and have a true phobia. Pest control did come and spray for ants and maintenance attempted to seal the bathroom baseboard regions with caulking. This apt. Was flooded prior to me moving in and this was NEVER disclosed by mgt. I feel the ants may be a result from the water damage of interior wall and floor spaces.
The parking is INSANE. Honestly good luck with this. You can reserve a spot for $75, but very few spaces available.
Overall, I DO NOT feel the peace and security that I expected from this community. My sleep is interrupted by the neighbor above me walking loudly, due to poor construction and the consistent pool noise. Now, I’m walking around in fear, anticipating the sight of another cockroach.
If you value your peace and want to proudly call a place home. Consider my statement above and do your own research with the APD.

The service management staff are wonderful and very helpful! I recently had a couple of service requests and Edin showed up when I asked, completed all requests to perfection, left a note of what was completed, and followed up with me after to make sure everything was completed. Thank you!!

I recently toured at The Copeland and had a great experience. From the first moment, Cristal demonstrated professionalism, expertise and genuine commitment to helping me find the perfect floorplan. Cristal also efficiently handled the leasing process. She promptly responded to my emails and phone calls, ensuring that all necessary paperwork and details were taken care of without any delays.

I'm only posting my experience as a visitor a few months back.
We were walking by and my toddler had to use the restroom badly.
I admit they don't owe outsiders anything but how can you give a toddler a hard time during an emergency situation?
The associates were empathetic but not the lady supervisor. I hope they find someone more human.

Had a great experience when I popped in for a quick last minute tour on Saturday. Cristal really accommodated me and answered all my questions concerning the unit I was interested in and other questions relating. I appreciate her help a lot.

Just don’t. This place is a joke. Management is a mess. Cars are broken into, the garage gate is always broken, pool is always being fixed, and they’ll tow you at any chance they get. My AC broke, there were roaches, and random other stuff breaks all the time. Not to mention when there are FC games you won’t be able to get into the apartment for at least 20 minutes. The fees and prices are out of control for the amount of disappointments this place brings. Live LITERALLY anywhere else.
