I'm writing this review to share my experience with The Paint Guy and especially Ryan (owner) and his Team.
Can't say enough great things about the quality of the repairs to my Ford F150 and how easy and professional the process was.
I've used other body shops in the past and None compare to The Paint Guy.
Now I have my truck back and it looks better than new !!!

I was happy with the paint job on my hood and quarter panel. However, I was put off a bit by the vastly different estimates given from the final price of the work; roughly double what i was originally quoted for.
I was going to just be "okay, whatever" but I just found a whole bunch of junk and sharp objects in my engine bay (shown exactly as I discovered it). Looks like old sanding pads, rusted razor blades, and a 10mm socket.
I'm a little annoyed by this because I'm wondering what else may have fallen into my engine bay that I'm not seeing. If I had the foresight to know I'd be paying expensive body shop prices, I'd have probably just taken it to a place that quoted me a little more honestly to begin with.
I don't have a reason to complain about the paint yet; it looked good out the door and is still in decent shape. I got it ceramic coated.
Body work is tough though. These guys got me in pretty quick, so I'm not displeased, just a bit disappointed with pricing and cleanup.
The after-the-fact pricing changes and rusty sharp objects left on touch points within my engine bay left a bit of a sour taste to what was otherwise a visually good paint job.

HIGHLY recommend these guys! Ryan was so responsive via text and even gave me a quote before bringing it in. I had called other paint specialists in the area and they all wanted $1500-2K for this small area job. Ryan and his guys were recommended to me by a friend that owns a dealership. His staff was professional, got the job done in a day and did excellent work. Honest and legit place! Need more shops like this around!

My low-mileage 2016 white Prius got ugly yellow paint and scratches on the front bumper after I drove into a no-parking curb. I did not want to use insurance and have my rates go up. So I found The Paint Guy in north Austin, who gave me a reasonable bid after he saw one photo. The shop was operating during the pandemic and the workers kept a safe distance. I left the car with them for 3 hours while I walked through the beautiful, nearby Great Hills Park. When I came to ransom the car back, I was relieved to see it all done with a perfect-match, sparkly finish that looked like the car was new. They had also cleaned up a few other small problems on the side-view mirrors. I was told at the last minute that only cash was accepted, but I got a receipt and my husband will likely return to get the paint touched up on his Honda Fit.

Quality Honest Work, I was backed into at a pluckers parking lot, Josh made my experience dealing with insurance a easier process, pricing was great, dealing with statefarm was a pain in the a** to get parts and the paint color listed on my vehicle was incorrect, Josh went above and beyond to insure the color matched correctly and repainted the bumper a few times to get the correct color. I will be back if I have any repairs in the future. Highly recommend The Paint Guy.

The repair was beautiful. Cant even tell there was damage. Excellent work. Good communication and help negotiating through Insurance Adjustment hell. Highly recommend from me. Paint Guy was recommended to me by my neighbor and the quality of his repair was also fantastic. Price was fair and work was of the utmost quality. I had a good experience.

This guy will take longer then promised, do poor quality repairs, and charge you as if your getting it repairs at a dealer. Don't be fooled, this shop is amateur at best.
