Visited to have my new rifle scope installed and sighted in. Excellent, friendly gunsmith staff. Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful.

Went here on 3/7 in the afternoon and it was my first time at a range. Upon arrival I was greeted by the front desk team who then showed me where to check in. After filling out forms, I met my instructor who was an older gentleman who asked questions about what I was looking for and which firearms I wanted to shoot. He then provided great insights and knowledge on best practices and ensuring I made the most out of my session.I appreciated how thorough, professional, and insightful he was in ensuring I felt comfortable and confident given it was my first time. I left with a better understanding of operating the weapons I was interested in and was able to get a good feel for the ones I sampled to inform my future purchases. The facility was clean, well maintained, and organized. Overall, a positive experience and would return again.

Tried these folks out on a Saturday morning. It was BUSY, but we managed to get a rifle lane right away. The facility itself is very slick and well put together; staff is personable and helpful. Highly recommended, but plan on a 25+ minute wait if you attend on a weekend and are looking to shoot pistols.

I went for a 90 minute private instruction session as a new gun owner who has done a lot of reading and youtube watching, and shot a few (maybe a total of 30) rounds at the family ranch, but has never had professional training. The idea was to sanity check that I wasn't developing any terrible habits with dry fire self instruction, and to get basic training knocked out more efficiently than in a group setting with a lot of 'boring' material that I've already absorbed but which has to be covered in a group class where some people have done zero prep. Ideally, I would leave the session with enough preparation that I could self-train the rest of the way to being able to pass the LTC skills test. The instructor, Rico, exceeded my expectations from the beginning and throughout. First off, I was 5 minutes early but he was already waiting behind the check in clerk and greeted me as soon as he heard me give my name. Next, he had actually read and absorbed my detailed notes (that I had provided during online signup) about firearm experience background and what I was hoping to achieve in the session. There was almost no boilerplate or wasted time with him going through a standard script. Rico started off asking me a few probing questions to confirm that I had absorbed the textbook rules of firearm handling and marksmanship, and then transitioned directly into specific instruction on handling and marksmanship, with helpful demonstrations and supporting stories throughout. Rico was professional yet personable, adapted quickly to my style with the right mix of first principles theory and specific physical instruction, and I ultimately left the session with live fire results that were both much faster and more accurate than I'd been able to achieve through self instruction and 'helpful' family advice. Highly recommended.

Had a very positive experience! Staff was very friendly and available to help throughout the entire experience. Being that it was my first time, they showed me how to safely handle the firearm and what NOT to do while in my lane.I highly recommend visiting this shooting range. They have everything you need. Prices are fair for the awesome experience you're going to get out of it.PS. forgot my ID at the check in and one of their staff members was kind enough to mail it back to me. I really don't have any complaints about this awesome store

Don’t ever do a FFL transfer here, if bill isn’t there then forget about getting any help from anyone at the front counter other than a “well I don’t know when bill will be back so we can’t help you”EDITED:Tried to give this place another chance and ordered a suppressor here, after approval from the ATF I went to pick up my suppressor but was promptly stopped at the front desk and told the only way I will be able to get my suppressor is next week since Dan is the only person who does NFA transfers. This place needs serious help with their staffing and having someone to do NFA and firearm transfers during ALL business hours. Until this happens they will not receive my business and I will not refer anyone to use them.

Excellent, safe atmosphere. There sometimes is a wait, but the staff are efficient and make sure that everyone gets their allotted time. Each range officer has their own bugaboo's when it comes to safety: follow them to a "T" because that officer is in charge of everyone's safety, not just yours. If they point something out, follow directions and press on.They do run a military (active or retired) discount for range time on Thursdays. As I've been going there with my coworker at least every other Thursday, I will be looking into a membership soon.Great overall experience!

This was an awesome experience, our group was a mix of first timers and intermediate shooters. The training was brief but getting hands on was the best way to learn. Tyler made the whole experience relaxed and fun. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Austin.

I love the selection of firearms and accessories for purchase at this range. It's like a candy store for me. However I can't recommend this facility to anyone of minority. You will stared down like a hawk from the time you walk in till the time you walk out. I was belittled with my purchases as if I didn't know that I was in a gun store, let alone know what I was buying for myself. I bought multiple accessories for multiple hand guns that I own, and was slung back every item he scanned without a bag or even the offer of a bag and then stared down again until I left. I can't say for the rest of the employees, but "David" specifically shouldn't work in customer service. That experience alone makes me not want to go back and enjoy the convenience of the location and selections
