I've been coming to Shangri-la for the past twenty years, since it was at its previous location. I have always loved it's east Austin vibe. Recently, they opened a secret bar in the back. While I understand such bars are becoming trendy in Austin, this one is worth visiting. $15 drinks, first off. And high concept. Not your smoke or gelatin ball level but def up there. And it matches the vibe of Shangri la. Chill, cozy, and it feels like Austin.

This place is full of really unique and interesting pieces of furniture and decor. Things are on the high end for prices but it's a fun walk around the store just looking at all the cool things. The store is 3 stories tall but thankfully there is an elevator. Parking is a bit scarce. It's a fun distraction before or after visiting the Oasis up the road.

Super unique out of the way vintage furniture and decor store. I didn't take any pictures because I was to busy taking it all in. Lots of items I'd love to add to my home decor to give it a unique and elegant flare. A must visit if you have some time to kill before getting your iconic Lake Travis sunset in!

Rob the owner, and owner of the Oasis hand picks every piece for this store. He has a design background and it shows in the eclectic style of pieces. The building is huge and yet it is crammed pack full of things. There is everything from small knick knacks to 19th Century Austrian woodwork at over 50k. Cool place to just window shop

Great place with cool art and furniture. Worth a stop even if you're not in the market for stuff.

I was very disappointed at the service. It took two hours to get served. They gave our order to someone else. Our waiter had too many table. We were getting our drinks ourselves from the bar. By the time we got our food it was four hours later. I will not come again. Not worth the price.

Go early on Sunday to enjoy the sunset, stay late to enjoy salsa dancing. They give free lessons. The best party in or around Austin on Sunday nights. The food is subpar, but the sunset is the best in central Texas.
