Very nice people - I needed a minor fix with my vintage watch. I didn’t trust myself to do it on my own so I brought it in. one of their associates did it in under a minute same day, no charge.

People running this shop seem dishonest. Terrible communicators. Poor service. I asked clearly and repeatedly for them to call me with feedback to discuss a potential project BEFORE they did any work. They never called me and seemed evasive when I called to discuss. Stay clear of this place. Should be ZERO stars.

Very poor customer service. I wanted a ring redesigned into a necklace. I needed to know how much two different designs would be, but was told they could not give me a price on either design until they extracted the diamonds and that came at a heavy cost. I was able to get a quote for the two designs at a different jewelers with just one conversation and the necklace was ready the very next day. Not the experience I had at Throckmorton’s. I will not be stepping foot in there again.

Mark and his team at Throckmorton’s did an incredible job of refurbishing and resizing my great grandfathers wedding ring that I will soon be wearing daily after I get married in a month. I wish I had a before picture because it was tarnished and nearly oval shaped after years of wear and tear. You wouldn’t believe it’s the same ring now.

I went here Saturday afternoon to get some links taken out of my new wrist watch. It was fast professional and they made sure I was happy with the service before I left. They were friendly and accommodating great place.

I wanted to get a movado watch repaired, what I thought was the battery. I wanted to go to a local family business. Found this family owned jeweler. The owner and watch repair person told me I needed a new movement and the battery was good. I kept asking, you sure it’s not the battery? Yes, it’s not the battery was the reply. I gave them all opportunities to recheck or even out in a new battery to find out. They insisted not the battery. Told me I needed a new movement and either had to send to movado or they could do it. I said no. Looked up another place which happened to be Jarad Jewelers. Sure enough, they said the battery tested good but he would put a new one in to make sure. And yes!!!!!! It was the battery!! And they didn’t even charge me for the battery! A little extra effort and this place would not have this bad review. Hopefully they learned from this.

It’s a lovely little family owned store. Everyone was real interesting and personable. I brought 5 watches in that needed new batteries and was in and out in less than 20 minutes

Some of the nicest and most trustworthy folks here. I was a walk in with my great grandfather’s watch needing a gasket and a diagnosis on the watches condition. They not only took great care of me and the watch, but left me feeling incredibly happy. Can’t wait to be back here to work with them again!
