Our Storm came into our life as a hurricane. We needed extra assistance to get her trained. Training by Tara (via Laura) has helped us tremendously. Within one training, she is handling the leash, not usually jumping on new people coming into the home, walking on the leash, listening to us, and understands who is the leader (well, most of the time... until a rabbit is in the vicinity- LOL). Thanks for the assistance.

The trainer is knowledgeable and easy to understand. The class is comfortable for the dog and educational for the owner. I look forward to this class and the next.

I can't say enough GOOD THINGS about Tara & her team.She has helped me with 2 dogs. One was getting sporadically aggressive to other dogs (of course, it was something I was doing! ?)The other was a 4 month old SCARED/ FERAL puppy who now, age 3, is happy, healthy & off leash whenever possible.She has a no-nonsense, get-down-to-business approach (no time wasted) & is IN TUNE with canine minds & knows how to interpret their (& OUR!) body language in assessing behaviors.Example: In a 1-hour private session with Tara, she fixed an aggression issue, a pulling on leash issues, AND started conditioning techniques for not chasing squirrels!AMAZING, PHENOMENAL, GENIUSA+++++

Laura is the absolute best, hands down. My German Shepherd loves going to training and Laura has adapted the sessions and skills to promote awareness and self-control (much needed in a big dog with a big bark) while keeping her from getting bored or frustrated.

We've had two dogs evaluated and trained here, and even with our dog that had severe behavioral issues, we have always been treated well and seen positive results. Highly recommended to anyone that has dogs. The webinars are incredibly informative and a great resource.

Unbelieveable training. My dog has gotten so much better walking on leash and obedient. My dog has a lot of outside anxiety an coudn't get her out of house, after one session with Tara, she's walking beautifully. I will continue to be an ongoing very pleased customer.

Absolutely LIFE CHANGING training for my fearful Shar Pei. Before Tara, we could not go new places or meet new people. Through thoughtful training approaches, my dog and I both have so much more confidence and the tools we need to adjust to new situations. I cannot recommend Tara and her team enough. Tara was truly put on this earth to help "challenging" dogs--it is amazing to watch her work. I've recommended her to many friends and family, and they all feel the same way!

Short Story: We took our 1 yr old dog for a 6 week basic obedience course here. Great class! Joy and Latte taught us outside. They are great at communication, affordable, knowledgeable and have small class sizes which is great for attention.Long Story: We adopted a 9 month old plott hound from an animal shelter in Dec 2021. She was on the verge of being returned on multiple occasions. This dog was out of control crazy. For many reasons, this was important to fix. We could tell she was so smart, but didn't know where to put her energy. We definitely needed help, but didn't know from where. Then, we found K9 Workingmind!! The staff was kind from the start and very helpful. I was amazed at all the classes and course options they had available. We decided to start with the basic obediance course. It promised to teach 23 commands and a few behavioral issues. With the price, we thought if it didn't work we wouldn't be shelling out a lot of money like other places were asking. The classes were held outside of the main building (kinda sucked on cold days). We had three other students in the class. And our teachers were Joy and her dog Latte. They gave us so many great tips, and advice. Joy gave me reassurance we were doing well and our dog was showing improvement. It was everything we needed. By the end, our dog graduated and we have a much better relationship. We are definitely enrolling in more classes.This saved us. Thank you a million!

I've only had two sessions so far and it has made such a difference for myself and my dog. They know what they are doing. They have made me feel more confident while working with my dog. I couldn't have asked for a better team and I have a ways still to go.
