From the moment I walked in, Jesse and Stella took great care of me. Jesse told me exactly what was going to happen. Brought my car in for the installation of trailer hitch…everything went quickly smoothly and both Jesse and Stella were friendly professional and again filled me in on everything done. Couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend. I would go back!

I came from California with a temporary driving license issued by TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY. ( I exchanged mine a California for a TEXAS)I'm a white US Citizen, and they ask me if I have an international Driving License.That is a Discrimination CASE HERE!!!They said they do not follow this policy:"Can You Rent a U-Haul with a Temporary License?Yes, you can rent a U-Haul with a temporary license. We suggest always bringing multiple forms of identification when you go to pick up your rental to verify your identity and avoid any issues."They make their own!Please be aware of those rental location ?

We moved from Austin to Phoenix. We had most of our stuff loaded into a POD and shipped but decided to have a hitch put on our Volvo XC60 and take a few things in a trailer as the POD would not be delivered for a few weeks. Because my father had used U-Haul to put a hitch on his truck, I decided to do the same. I was charged $687 for the hitch install when I scheduled the appointment. Halfway through the installation process, I got a call saying they could not install the wiring on the hitch because the wiring on the Volvo was too small. I said that since they could not hook up the wiring, it was pointless to have the hitch installed. I said that I would be happy to pay for the labor that was done but I did not want a useless hitch on the back of my vehicle. I was told they would refund the cost of the hitch and wiring that was not able to be done.As I said before, they charged nearly $690 for the installation but only refunded me $270 and still installed the hitch. So, now, I have a useless hitch on my Volvo that I cannot use because there is no wiring for the break lights on the trailer. Add to that, I had to rent a truck rather than a trailer which was nearly twice the cost. I was in between a rock and a hard place because of the timing. We had no time to dispute this because the install happened on Friday and we left town the very next day.I have used U-Haul many times in the past and I would have to say this is the first time I've had such a negative experience. Thank God we don't live in Austin anymore because I would not use them EVER! Also, whenever any of our Austin friends mention moving, will discourage them from using any Austin based U-Haul team. They will rip you off!

First off, they had what I needed for the best price. And the flexibility to let me switch my reservation at the counter. A+ for value and service.I interacted directly with four different employees, and they were all outstanding. I witnessed two other employees and their interactions with customers and they were also outstanding. The people working at this location were 100% fantastic.But they could have used another person at the counter to get them through the morning rush. I would up waitng in line nearly half an hour at opening, despite having a reservation. The counter was backed up and the line was long (which also led to periods where the guys working the trucks were having to wait). A third person working the counter would've stremlined the process and led to much less wasted time on the part of both customers and employees.

We had just moved to Austin and were being housed at The Domain for 30 days. We found this location online in close proximity to the apartment. We were only planning to drop off the vehicle, but decided to use their storage units as well. This location is not in what feels to be a great neighborhood, but our items were safely stored and the staff could not have been any nicer. Looks like they haven't been reviewed much recently and I think they deserve higher now because I imagine that this a new staff and perhaps new management as well.

I had no issues with this location whatsoever when I needed to rent a cargo van for moving purposes. It was a one day rental for $19.99 and then they charge you about .79 cents per mile. Now I'm super clumsy so I immediately opted for the $10 insurance gap because that's the type of luck I have. The team here was super easy to work with and they were full of joy. I liked how clean the vehicle was inside and out. When I brought back the vehicle it was super easy to checkout.

They will Rob you legally. The pricing is ridiculous and will give you any excuse to keep your money. Please find a better moving company like I did.

Terrible service. The Older black male tried to tell me what I'm going to drive. When I'm telling him how many miles he wanted to add more then when I refused he said "he can refer me to someone else."

The facilities are hazardous due to lack of maintenance. Despite several requests and more than a month of time, lights are still out in the storage unit area.

Horrible service all around from the beginning. General manager(Norvell) seems like he is able to do what ever he wants; "it's my store" attitude. I made a reservation one week before my need for a truck and had no problems. They called me the day of stating that they can't give me my reservation since it is a end of the month weekend, it is busy, it only takes 4 hours to move with a 10' truck. If I made a reservation and the truck is available, why can't I have my reservation fulfilled? They tried to put me in a 1-way reservation, but still bring the truck back to their location, I would end up spending more after the fact. Had no remorse and gave me a run around for "identity assurance" and demanded I give them a phone number to contact to verify I am who I say I am, and not base it off my ID/CC. Never had to do that before. After my expression of dissatisfaction, other employees decided to chime in after hearing me state I'm a veteran with an out of state ID, saying I am representing the military poorly, even though I never stated I am representing the military and was expressing the lack of accountability and proper customer service. One employee even called me crazy. Horrible management, and corporate customer service is not that helpful either.

I do not recommend it first day and it was scammed they robbed me they ask for a 100 dollars deposit. And they manage to keep them once you give your deposit, you have to get the idea that they were going to rob you in front of your face. I was very disappointed and sad about my money.

I rented a uhaul- used it for less than 10 miles, and had purchased the Insurance. The manager of the store Norvell Eutsy is trying to charge me $600 for some bogus damage!!!! Even with the insurance!!!! I did nit do any damage to the truck. I think this is a scam and will be filing a complaint with the BBB.
