My salon experience with Kenrik was terrible. He was so uncooperative when I asked for a simple curly hairstyle. His excuse was my hair was too long and heavy, but I have curled my hair way better myself. Waste of money!

The first time my hair was ruined should have been it for me, but I decided to give ulta another chance. After malorie burned my scalp and melted all my hair off with bleach and heat, I let it grow out for a long time and nurtured it back to life. I let my beautiful natural curls grow out and come to life after years of suppressing them with a straightener. I came back to get a cut after a pretty long time to fix the shape and get damage off. The first two times with Kim were pretty good and I thought she did a good job. This last time I asked her for a trim, to cut as little as possible off, and maybe throw in some little layers to add a bit of volume if she thought it would look good. Well she cut like 8 inches off the front of my hair and gave me the shape that I told her I specifically don’t like, there aren’t really layers and I saw her thinning it in the back, which my curls don’t appreciate. Just awful.I couldn’t even believe it was happening as it happened. I kept smiling and internally telling myself “maybe it’s not as short as you think,” and I rebooked and paid and left and then got to my car and really looked at it and… This is literally the ugliest haircut I have ever had in my life. It is so unflattering to my face shape. I got home and bawled my eyes out.I literally was so upset I called and spoke to the manager, went back and got a refund. I’ve never done that before. I’ve never even complained before. But this was just the last straw for me. And the manager was trying to gaslight me the entire time and tell me there was “miscommunication on both sides,” which is just crazy to me. How do you misinterpret “please cut as little off as possible, I want to keep my length. My length is very important to me. Please don’t cut much off.” ???????????? And the manager kept trying to tell me about her own hair like, okay? That’s literally irrelevant?? Your stylist chopped all my hair off after I specifically asked her not to, stop trying to tell me it’s my fault somehow. Like, that’s gross.Anyways, whatever. I got my money back. But i’m still mad. I feel violated. You took my entire year’s worth of growth. And it’s just gone. I cried for three days and every time I see myself in the mirror it makes me angry and I want to cry some more.I don’t understand why she would do this to me. It just feels cruel. There’s nothing anyone could do to make me feel better about this. Just an utter waste. Do better.

The place was disgusting. The testers were caked up. The stations with the one time use applicators were dirty filled w trash and or empty. Noone asked me if I needed help w anything.

Heather was a lovely help on a quiet weeknight. Gave a great recommendation on foundation (and made sure it wasn't outside my budget before showing it, which was very considerate). She also gave me lots of info AND some gentler (and not necessarily more expensive) alternatives to some aggressive skincare I was looking into, which I appreciate. Great help!

I love this Ulta. I can’t recall a better customer shopping experience. I was struggling to match my skin to a foundation from Bare Minerals (I have sensitive skin so need to be careful) and I asked for help from Sabrina. What a GODDESS. Sabrina is my green-haired QUEEN. She led me to a much better brand for my skin and matched my tone perfectly and also recommended an amazing primer. I am so happy with my purchase and got a few more things while I was there. I’ve never felt more welcome or comfortable in a beauty store, where I usually feel out of place. Thank you Sabrina. I will be back next week to chat brows, lol.

horrible and uncomfortable atmosphere. staff was rude and only helped other customers around us, they never greeted us directly, but loved to follow us around the store.

They make me provide a phone number or email or they wont let me return in the future. I said i will have the physical reciept for return they said you still cant return without a phone number with us. I have never been to an ulta like this store. I dont feel comfortable giving out my phone number but i was put in a spot where i have to. The cashier was rude. She wasnt busy but let me stand in line until she feels like taking me.

RACIST Place. As soon as me and my husband of color walked in the entrance we were followed all the way to the salon where I had an appointment by a male floor walker or manager who was only keeping tabs on us. Mind you the store was full of customers but we seemed to be singled out because of our skin color. I've been to many Ulta stores many times and have never had this experience until coming to this particular store.
