Uncle Tetsu is a business with delicious Japanese cheesecake and tarts. The delicious aroma of their cheesecake hits you as soon as you open the door. Their cheesecakes are fluffy and yummy and melted in our mouths. They are nice and moist and fluffy, different from a typical American cheesecake. People recommend the regular cheesecake, the Japanese cheesecake, the basque cheesecake, and the strawberry cheesecake, which is light and delicious. The Ube Basque Cheesecake is a standout. The staff is friendly and attentive and explained the difference between the normal Japanese cheesecakes and the basque cheesecake, which is denser with a slightly burned crust. They also have tartlets. The ube egg tart was alright for some, but others found it a standout and delicious. They had samples of a new black sesame flavor cheesecake that was also very good. It is so good that people get dessert here regularly and will be back for sure. It is worth the wait and worth it.

Finally made it to Uncle Tetsu today. WOW it was worth the wait and will now be on my regular rotation. I sampled the Strawberry cheesecake in store, so light and delicious! But the real winners for me are the Ube Basque Cheesecake and the Ube tart. DO NOT skip adding these to your order. Standouts. Yum.
