Unicorn Moving was amazing, from start to finish. Kimberly and Gizela were great getting things scheduled, Brent was super professional and gave a thorough explanation of the estimate and what it would take to get everything moved. The real stars were Ray, Joseph, and Steve: showed up on time, did the heavy-lifting, were quick, careful, and made sure all of our stuff was handled with care. Those three guys knocked it out of the park and we’re ao thankful to them for taking care of us!! If you need moved, these are the folks you want.

Used Unicorn at the last minute as my previous scheduled mover misled me on several things. They were prompt and efficient!
I moved across states and needed my items on a particular day to arrive which they accommodated. My mover Angel was very professional and his helper ( can’t remember his name), but they made everything go smoothly! I would definitely use them again and recommend this company!

Don't hire this company if you're a single woman. One of their movers is a total creep. He took pictures of me repeatedly without my permission, hit on me, and asked me for hugs. I reported him to the company and they said they took disciplinary action and confirmed that he deleted the pics but he still works there.

Best best best movers!!! Used them three times now and I’ll never use another company. My new house has a nightmare of a driveway and they were still so positive and kind as they finished the move under the initial quoted timeframe.

We were so pleased with how friendly, professional, and efficient Caleb, Terrance and Shawn were with packing up our house. They packed our belongings with care, labeled boxes with specifics so that unpacking will be easier, and took extra precautions with fragile items like my Grandmother’s china. We would definitely hire them again and we will enthusiastically recommend Unicorn Moving to our friends and family.

Don’t use Unicorn; they’ll trash your home and then engage in opaque and inaccurate billing practices.
Notice: my original review of Unicorn (at the bottom) gave them a rave 5-star rating for work done in November 2023. My most recent interaction with them has been absolutely horrendous.
On loading day for an out of state move in early September 2025 their team arrived late and we believe drunk.., at least buzzed. They did more than $800 of damage to our property, damaging dry wall and taking chunks out of the door frames. The whole time their lead was clear about rushing the job so he could get to drinking beer. We should have stopped the job but we were set to move out of state the very next day and didn’t have a back up option. Given our prior great interaction with Unicorn we didn’t think we needed one.
Unloading a few days later in our new home state went perfectly because Angel (see my original review for work in 2023 below) was there and he is an expert at what he does.
When Angel was generating the final bill he noticed that the lead had not closed out the job at the end of loading, so over 150 incorrect hours had been billed to our job. He corrected the mistake to the best of his ability and we paid our final amount.
30 days later, in early October 2025, I requested a final invoices for my records. Kimberly in accounting sent it over and it showed that I had overpaid by $1,297. I called Kimberly back and asked what happens next, and after a week of asking I’ve just heard that they’ve updated the final invoice and I now OWE THEM $498!!
There are so many mistakes on both invoices; from incorrect mileage to flat out showing the wrong line items. For example, the crew flew back and didn’t do a round trip yet the invoice shows round trip mileage, which is the bulk of the cost. The amended invoice shows 11 hours of labor, but our records show 9.5, the original FINAL invoice shows 2 (obviously incorrect). So which number is it? The invoice shows a credit card fee, but we paid by debit card to avoid fees, so what gives?
Honestly if they’d said “we made a mistake, let’s just call it even” I’d have been fine with it. But to turn around, render a completely inaccurate invoice and tell me I owe them money after the damage (which I reported to them) and lack of professionalism (except of Angel who is a rock star..) shows these guys are just shady.
To end: if you are going to work with these guys, make sure Angel and Jose do your work for you, and do not say yes to the job unless they have rendered a completely accurate quote before the work starts. Stop the job if you hear the plan has changed.

As always, the team at Unicorn was fantastic. They’re punctual, professional, and somehow managed to make me laugh in the middle of moving chaos — no small feat. We’ve relied on them for years to move heavy furniture around both the house and garden, and we deeply appreciate every single one of them.
This time, they tackled some incredibly heavy pieces we could never have moved ourselves — including a massive stone birdbath that had to be carried clear across our two-acre property. They handled it all with ease, good humor, and total professionalism.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about them.

Moving is usually stressful… but Unicorn made it feel easy and smooth. On October 6th, they showed why they are one of the best moving companies out there. Everything was on time, well organized, and with great attitude from beginning to end.
I want to give a special mention to the three guys who helped us: TJ, Steve and Steve —yes, two different people named Steve, and both were amazing. Each one worked with energy, precision, and a lot of care. They were respectful, fast, and worked together like a perfect team. Honestly, they made the difference.
Unicorn didn’t just move our things, they changed the way we see good service. In a world full of average, they gave us something excellent.
Thank you for making this move a great experience.
Five stars, well deserved. Totally recommended.
