They're initially nice to new customers. As noted in other posts, if you're an existing customer with a problem, they won't help solve it. They'll even go so far as to be rude and give you the runaround.

Worse bank ever!! RUN!! Do not bank here. Every visit to the branch to make a simple deposit took 40 minutes. They make you wait for someone to process it in the back with the drive thru tellers. Anytime you call for help they will tell you to come to the branch. The online website never works. Simple transfers from one account to another had to be done over the phone and no one could explain why it didn't work online. The fees are ridiculous for a credit union. You are required to open a multitude of additional accounts that will not import into Quickbooks or Quicken correctly. When you call for help no one will help you. To do simple bank wires, they require that you go into the branch or fill out a PDF and FAX IT!!! They are decades behind what other tech savvy banks can offer. Luckily, I have a great bank to move to that I wish I had never left. What a terrible mistake it was to choose this bank. Biggest time sucker!

The common perception of a local banking institution is that they are customer obsessed over their community. My experience with UHCU is they are no different than the transnational banks. You will drown in fees with them. Go somewhere else.

I recently had a fraud charge on my account, it's been an absolute nightmare getting a refund. After it was refunded, they claimed it wasn't fraud, then charged my account. If it's a charge I didn't make, then it's fraud.The fraud department kept saying "if they didn't provide the services that's different but we can't help with that now". I never said they didn't provide the services, that was just their nice way of saying they believe I made the charges and don't care what I have to say anymore.Time to find another credit union/bank.

As a new customer, I was VERY impressed with the customer service provided by the Lakeway branch! I could not be more pleased with the decision to join United Heritage Credit Union. Never again. Talked to one of their LOs to confirm whether they do financing for a used car outside of TX. She told me yes. We proceeded with the app, got preapproved and it's been a nightmare since. Lost the first deal thinking it was just the dealership. Found a second vehicle and it's the same nightmare! This company requires the dealer to either accept drafting instructions or sign a letter of guaranteed with a copy of the front and back of the title. Really ridiculous and lost 2 months of non-sense. Then, she offered to refinance the car after it's titled in TX. This CU should not say they offer financing for out of state vehicles if these are their requirements. Just crazy, don't waste people's time.

I got to this location of United heritage credit union two minutes before they closed. They had one guy in front of me in the drive-through and by the time I got up to the window it had rolled over 4 PM which is when they closed today. All I needed to do was cash a quick check that my aunt had given me for some money that my grandma had left me and her will. I came here as fast as I could and even though I waited in line before they closed, the employee here decided that she needed to get home five minutes sooner than she would have if she would've helped me out and made my day and my next two days extremely nice. I honestly was going to open an account here until I experience this customer service. It was ridiculous and she was kind of condescending and rude. I would not recommend baking at this place unless you don't mind Dealing with rude people that would rather get home five minutes earlier than to help a customer get something done that needs to be done. Like I said I was there on time.

I struggled getting help and then when I did get help they seemed to be clueless as to the important questions I had regarding my auto loan. The guy I worked with was arrogant even though I have had several vehicles financed through them and had never missed a payment they treated me with very little respect..I would encourage people to seek alternative institutions.

This credit union takes so long to do a simple task. They tell you that they will keep you posted on your transaction and over an hour goes by and no one comes to give you status. Customer service not the best at this branch

We have not been able to login to online or mobile banking regularly for almost 3 weeks now! Very dissatisfied with the technical team. When running a business you have to be able to access your account, unfortunately this is an ongoing issue that does not seem to be of utmost importance to resolve. On a positive note the tellers at the location are nice enough and I know it is out of their control but when your main purpose is to operate a financial institution and you are not able to resolve issues in a timely manner, it doesnt matter how friendly your tellers are.

Incompetent, refuse to accept accountability. Side step facts, cannot read written documents, address issues that were all ready quite clearly outlined. In the last 2 months. My account number ALL 13 digits account number and routing number verified and reverified. As if telling me 26 times changes the fact it's rejected over n over from multiple vendors. They're the common denominator. My account number has been rejected as Invalid each time. My online rent payment was late. ( late fee ) My debit card only works at point of service. My internet was turned off TWICE. ( they denied AT & T tried processing payment - yet I had a confirmation number ) My credit card payment was rejected 4 times using all the correct information. Now my credit card is on lock down for 11 days due to invalid account number trying to be used!!! My car insurance payment didn't process. ( late fee ) Every excuse in the book given... Always project the problem back on me, all the vendor agents or others bill paying system. Seriously, how hard can it be to rectify? Closing my account. Worthless financial Institute and employees. Can't imagine having a car loan or mortgage payment with them!! Run...
