Austin is known for their murals and this is one of their more popular ones to visit. It's about 5-10 minutes from downtown Austin so it's very convenient to get here to snap some pictures. Anything with a pun is always going to sit well with me too. There is a small parking lot and there's also tons of street parking in the area. There's actually a table right in front of the mural so it's easy to put any tripods there if you don't have anyone else to help take a picture. If you don't have a tripod then selfies will work too. Fortunately days before we came here the mural was fixed after being defaced. Come on now, be butter. I don't know why people would do that (I guess the reason is that some people just suck) but luckily there are good people to keep this mural beautiful and Austin weird.

Great mural with an even better plaque for the mural. It actually has a slot on the front that you can prop your cell phone in to take selfies. The mural itself is punny and brightly colored. There are benches and a picnic table in front of the mural. The parking on the side streets is ample, as well as the parking lot itself. Once the store was closed it was easy to park right in front and just loop around the building for the pictures.

I have seen this mural in friend's photos but have never been, nor did I realize it adorns the side of United Way Greater Austin. As someone who worked for a United Way agency in Houston, this is such a great representation of all United Way does for its communities. The landmark is easy to access and faces MLK. There is some street parking and a parking lot behind United Way you can use. The hill is quite steep to access, but there is a staircase on the side street. From street level it looks as though the top of the stairs are blocked on the side by hedges preventing you to walk to the side to see the mural, but I realized once we climbed the hill the hedges don't actually block access. Such a perfect spot to take pictures for families or couples.

Sorry to say, we are family that's from San benito tx. N are at st. David's hospital with son in law, he is in icu was a lineman n had a heatstroke now is going thru dializes n will also need heart surgery, we are a fam. In need n dont have resources for food, gas or have any clothing n have 3 kids with us, n this is a big city can't find a helping hand anywhere, all they say is will it's not for free..how sad that there's a helping hand at all..

The mural was easy to find and we were able to take our time taking pictures since it wasn't in a crowded area. I love butter and it was a perfect mural to take a picture in front of. One of the memorable parts of our Austin family trip!
