I discovered University Car Wash and their state inspection service last year. It’s my new inspection place! Every employee that’s helped me has always been so nice. And today was no different, Seth was super. He was so sweet and conversational, as well as very efficient. He was awesome!

Go here for your inspections. Clean, fast, professional. No bs or upsell. Good self care washes too. Josiah was working hard cleaning the place up early and getting me going early. Dude deserves a nice bonus from the boss in my opinion.

Really fast emissions test. Took all of 6 minutes! I was prepared to wait much longer but was pleasantly surprised with how fast it was. Barely got through a paragraph in my book! Worth driving to this place because other places take 20 minutes or more to do one smog test! Best place for a state inspection in Austin

The vehicle inspections cost more if you use a credit card. They hide the extra change on the wall in a sign and don't mention it at all to the customer, if you a ask the price. Skip this place and save your money. There are others close by that don't charge extra.

I went for a car inspection. There's a large banner saying the number (9 for today's date) indicating the month sticker you should be going for! The woman who helped me was very nice, fast and eficiente. I was in & out in 5 minutes! Great experience!

Very fast and professional.
The service cost me $19 to register my car.
They have a room with A/C where you can wait while they do the procedure.

I was on my way to my mechanic, prepared for what I was told would be a one-and-a-half-to-two-hour wait for an inspection, when I saw the University Car Wash & Vehicle Inspection sign. I thought, it doesn't hurt to try! How delighted was I to be in and out of that place lickety-split. It was the middle of a workday and there was NO WAIT. I think it took ten minutes at most? The two staffers were terrific, and I will absolutely go back there next year. Highly recommend!

I paid $10 to the automatic car wash to just get sprayed with water for 10 seconds max. No soap or anything. $10 for just water and 10 seconds. Waste of time and money.

It's an ok place to wash your car. I had to deposit more than 3 dollars to start the wash. It looks like the machine didn't count some quarters.
