Idk what it is about this location but every time I am here there is an issue. Long lines in the middle of the day, workers being rude or unhelpful. Always something

Came in to ship some t-shirts to my dad. A 3lb box. I wish I would have gotten her name, but it was a pretty black lady with a nose ring. She offered to ship it $47, guaranteed to be there by the 18th. Today is the 12th, so 6 days. I've shipped a lot lately due to Christmas so I knew something was off. I asked to be sure she was clear in what she said, she was. So I asked if this was the cheapest option, no it's $15. Wait, what? I chose the cheaper option....just to find out that my package will be there on the 17th?! What the heck UPS? I haven't used this store before, but I won't be back. Something seems fishy.

Like many others in these reviews, don't expect your packages to arrive on time or even within days of the stated date. Expect bad customer service. I read the reviews and decided against my better judgement out of convenience. All the negative reviews on this specific store are unfortunately true. The young dude with the small fro that helped me initially is the only Rep working there that is friendly. We all hate our jobs, but it's a choice to be miserable on the clock. 90% of the observed staff there look and act miserable. The tracker is pretty much useless. Not necessarily a store issue, but that comes in later. Throughout the shipping process I couldn't get any information on where the package was until the day it was supposed to arrive. "Supposed to" being the key phrase. Took multiple days, and numerous phone calls just to see where the hell it was or what was happening after the initial delivery date. Something I spent almost $300 shipping. Calling this store was the real mistake though. Horrible service throughout the whole experience. Attitude the minute they answer the phone as if they're the ones experiencing an issue. Don't ask them to repeat anything, you'll get an exaggerated sigh or they'll talk over you. Nothing more frustrating than having someone interrupt you before you can even finish sentences. Completely unprofessional. One person telling me I'm eligible for a refund, and the next rep telling me I'm not and hanging up. Out of the multiple calls made to UPS over the past week, an outsourced community rep was honestly the only professional rep I got that helped me with my issue. If you have important items that need to be shipped for work or other deadlines, please fly with them if you can or choose a different UPS store. Avoid this store. If you have an issue with your shipment, this store is the last one you want to be communicating with.

This used to be my “go to” shipping location. I prefer to ship UPS. I measure, weigh, pay and label the box at home and drop it off. My Amazon returns have also been an easy scan and drop off. BUT…In the past 2 weeks, I have received the worst service from this location. I will never go here again and may stop using UPS all together if it can no longer be convenient. In two separate transactions, a younger gentleman (same person both times) has refused to scan and accept my Amazon returns. The first time I took it as holiday rush stress. I went home and contacted Amazon and they confirmed that UPS was to take the return exactly as I presented it. When I told them UPS refused to take it, they suggested I go to a different UPS Store as this one did not seem to understand the process. The second time, I went to the store first thing in the morning and after the holiday rush. Again, the gentleman refused to take the Amazon return because he said I need to put it in a box. I showed him the instructions clearly said I was to provide “No Box, No Label” he still refused. When I suggested he take the items and put them in a bag and put a label on them as he had done with many others, he still refused and walked away from me without finishing my transaction. I asked questions and he would not answer. Based on both visits, I believe the management at this store condones and almost encourages this behavior.FYI, immediately following this interaction, I drove over to the Riverside location, who scanned the Amazon QR code, put the items in a bag, printed the label on the bag and gave me a drop-off receipt. It was a less than 2 minute interaction. Very nice gentleman working with a smile.

I was helped by Mikey for a huge shipment of 30+ packages. He was friendly, patient, and efficient. Thanks to him, a tedious task for my job was made more enjoyable and handled quickly!

I went to return a package, and when I got back home, I realized that I still had two of the parts of the item I was returning. When I got back to the store, Ann went through the packages until she found the one that I had dropped off 2 hours before, and let me add the missing pieces into the package. Very kind, great service!

Terrible customer service. I shipped my tv from this location. Paid to have my $800 tv insured, it was delivered shattered and after 1.5 months of going back and forth with the claims team I am still being refused a refund for the damage the employees caused. Truly upsetting that everyone trusts UPS and their services. Will not be going back

You will be prompted/directed to use the self serve computers to print your own labels even if there are no customers in line. This is so the location can collect more money from you.Regardless of what they say, the pay by the minute computer terminals are not convenient or faster than having the workers simply print your label for you.

If you want your package to arrive, DO NOT ship through this location. The absolute worst UPS store I’ve ever used on 20+ years. Once they ship the package they are done serving you as a customer. They had to redo the name on the package 3x after I left the store. I paid $47 to ship to Canada. This was the 2nd time in 3 weeks I shipped to the same person and address. We get a notice from UPS that we owed $317 for the shipment to be delivered. So UPS held the package. The person receiving it was there for vacation and had a short window to receive it. It was supposed to be delivered August 4th and by today the 11th it had still not come and the person receiving it was leaving. I got told by UPS no less then 3x to contact this store. Every time they did they kept telling me to call back the 800 #. They lifted zero fingers to help. The front desk at this UPS store was uninterested, snarky and dismissive.

Re: UPS # 6438 store 2407 S Congress: I have had a mailbox at this UPS store for one year. Usually, the UPS employees are so busy, they cannot disburse the mail into the P.O. Boxes in a timely fashion. The result is mail that becomes available a day or two later. I've put up with that and the filthy bathroom Smell that wafted thru the UPS store for the last 6 months...& now, I attempted to mail a box, which online was $184.00 and upon trying to mail it in person the price jumped to $315.00. For the same said box. Price gouging a client for over $130 is unacceptable and shows this UPS franchised business is b********

The bad reviews are kinda true. The process can be quick. I mailed something in 2 minutes. Problem is, they try to rob you a bit here. I was mailing a mother's day gift Tuesday and the young black man working there gave me an overnight option and then a two day option...mothers day is 5 days from this moment. First option was almost 90 dollars to mail a hat and t-shirt 200 miles away in East Texas. The next was almost 50...I said "how about Friday?" He begrudgingly said sure...that will be 36 dollars. I said let's do that one. The instructions after that were given in a manner consistent with people that will be bad parents if given the opportunity. Won't be mailing from here again...imagine owning this spot and not making the changes necessary to do well. Sell me some of your business so I can turn it around!
