Everytime I step foot in this UPS store it is a breathe or fresh air. This store is truly the holy grail of UPS stores. I also have always had nothing but the most positive of experiences with the staff and I don’t understand all the negative reviews that people keep writing on my man Ruben, he is really the king of UPS.

I visited the store for a notary, typically when I get documents notarized I pay per notary stamp and if multiple documents are being notarized the additional documents are charged a $1 notary fee. Today I visited the store to have 5 documents notarized and the documents require two authorized signators. I had 5 stamps on the documents once completed and were charged for 10 notary items, and when asked about the charge I was made aware we had to pay a notary charge based on how many authorized signatures are on the document. No other UPS store has charged this much for their notary services and when charged we get charged for the notary stamp not for the amount of signatures we place on the document.

The store manager, Ruben, was very rude to other guest, including myself. Stating that our Amazon return had already been printed and that there was nothing that could be done, but we had never printed out the return slip. Before disappearing to the back he was very disrespectful to other guest, throwing their packages right in front of their eyes, at least hide it man. He then, without any remarks, walked to the back while we were still trying to figure out our Amazon return issue. He did not emerge fromhis cave, we left. If I could rate this store a 0/5 I would.

Nickel and dimey. UPS always ruins my day.EDIT: I'm not able to reply to the reply so posting more context here. The issue was a passive aggressive customer service rep about a "taping fee" for a single piece of packing tape to close my package. The "taping fee" cost more than an entire roll of packing tape, and FedEx and USPS both will tape the box closed for free. Regardless of your policy on said "taping fee," the customer service rep didn't have to be passive aggressive about enforcing it.

The older larger man with white hair is rude to customers about 85% of the time. There is a way to speak to customers when you are in customer service, he is just rude and will embarrass the customer loudly and with an inappropriate tone. Just because he hates his job doesn't give him the right to be rude to customers.Avoid this location at all costs. I would advise anyone needing to mail something to use the location off William Cannon next to the Firehouse subs. They are always so friendly and helpful.

this location is so bad it's laughable. I just stood there while they ignored me then left and went to the nearest UPS store. the loud Christian music is just the rotten cherry on top ?

The location is too small for the traffic it gets. Religious music/radio playing loudly in the store is VERY off putting.

Ruben did not care to help me when there was a question about a lost package. I had the receipt with the tracking number. He claimed nothing he could do about it. If there is a lost package apparently it is not that store’s responsibility to help. I get the impression Ruben enjoys being in control just to say nothing I can do about it.Thankfully UPS Customer Service is able to deal with problem that Ruben did not want to be bothered with. I had my return within 15 minutes after calling UPS Customer Service and giving them the tracking number.Take a customer relations course Ruben!

The young man who took my Amazon return package explained to me how Amazon directions will indicate how you are to provide a returned article to the UPS store. In my case, my item was in a box, and I was supposed to have sealed the box. He went ahead and sealed it for me, but let me know that he would have to charge for that kind of thing in the future. I'll make sure to check the Amazon return directions next time I bring something in, but I thought that the staff at this store was accommodating and helpful.

Ruben needs to go, super rude won’t get up to help you in any way. Poor costumer services won’t be coming back I rather drive up to another ups than deal with his rudeness

The customer service guy was rude and the price of boxes was incredibly high. I would not go here again willingly.

I would give zero stars if I could. Boxes all over the floor of the store and had to wait to be helped by the single employee in the store. I had an Amazon return and the last time I brought a box taped closed, they opened it to confirm the contents. I did not tape the box shut today but the item was fully packaged and closed up inside. They charged me FIVE dollars to tape it closed. Are you kidding me?? For two pieces of tape. Ridiculous. The loud religious music and prayers broadcasting over the radio were also incredibly unwelcomed. This isn’t a religious organization and it felt inappropriate. I’ll be using the S Lamar store in the future where the employees are always friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location.

I am a frequent at this UPS store and am always greeted with a smile no matter who is working there. Not once has a package been lost from this location. Compared to the other shipping services in the area, UPS is always my top choice. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help!!

Always a long line. Also they charge for every little thing- for example- $3 for printing a label. The neighborhood pack n ship is so much more accommodating and also faster.

I wish I could give negative stars to this place. This large guy needs a correction in attitude. Very bad customer service. He accused me of trying to put”responsibility “ on him for taping my box . The only reason I didn’t tape it is because my company paid ups to send packaging material for my equipment and ups did not send me enough packaging material. He was of 0 help. And I’m not going there again.
