I’ve been a fan of this place for most of my time in Austin until today. I came in looking for tape-in extensions to finish my look and I was immediately profiled. The older Korean lady was hesitant to grab the product I was looking for and when she finally did gave the disclaimer that it’s “pricey” accompanied with looking me up and down. I’ve been wearing tape-ins for a while and know a bit about the quality so I asked to read the packaging and she asked “For what”. I answered to see if the wefts are silk (which most quality tape-ins are) and she held onto the package very firmly while barely allowing me to. I’ve spent $1000s of dollars here this calendar year alone and will never be returning. I get trying to implement loss prevention but this entire encounter was uncalled for. There are many more reviews saying the same thing and they’re absolutely right. You can’t expect revenue from the same demographic you’re racially profiling. Please do better.
