I went close to noon on a weekday. Friendly fast service. Almost didn't go based on other reviews. Service here was so much better than the other PO I used on Menchaca in South Austin.

I appreciate that there are staffing challenges, but having one employee at this location is really rough. More than 6 of us have been waiting in line for over 30 minutes. The phone is ringing off the hook, and the line is getting longer and longer behind us. People are leaving left and right. This clerk needs support!

I've used this post office since I was a UT student, and the staff have always been courteous and kind. I now deal with this station in an official capacity, and the regulars are always nice. Regretfully, I have since had a highly unpleasant experience with this location involving a RETAIL planning liaison of the USPS. A woman by the name of AMBER EVANS was there performing an audit. She greeted me in the most rude, and frankly RACIST, way I've ever experienced at any federal office. She made me feel criminal -- I happen to be black.I would say that the USPS should take additional care in selecting the people they want up in higher positions -- especially these days! The USPS continues to lose money, and frankly CLIENTS, and personalities like this AMBER do nothing but exacerbate the problem!

An extremely rude, arrogant white old woman who seems like a racist.

Please do not visit this office unless you are forced to. Staff is unfriendly. There is always a long queue since only one staff member is present. Moreover a lot of mixups happen here. My Certified mail package was misdelivered once and the delivered very late without tracking the second time.

Extremely rude staff. That old lady at the front desk was such a tool. I asked her nicely if she could help me track a lost package. She acted passive aggressive and told me she didn’t know if she was legally supposed to help me track it. She went and checked it anyway and came back with the info I needed but kept repeating she didn’t know if she was legally supposed to help me with it as if I just forced her to do something illegal. I was like, what the heck does that even mean. If it was illegal then why did you do it? I didn’t hold you at gunpoint and force you to break the law. Such a jerk.

Sooo badly run: On more than one occasion, they didn't even have simple stamps to sell... How hard can that be?

They don't know how to do USPS mail forwarding. Sent me to another location.

Came to get my passport application approved. I used a private courier, so I left with my documents only to find a mistake. I freaked out, printed new documents and came back and tried to explain the situation to the same woman who had helped me originally and was refused- ok, that’s fine, no power to change government documents. Her hands were tied. My issue was, after I had already said thank you to leave, she said “Your mask is gone. Maybe put on a mask before you come in here and try to talk over my counter to me.” I had left mine in the car in a rush- fair enough, I should be wearing one. But wow. Is it a requirement on the USPS application to be and make everyone else miserable? What if that was my 13th reason???? Anyways I ended up sending out my original documents, hoping for the best, and crying in my car. USPS lady, I really do hope you have a great day.

I wish there were more employees, even a few people can form a line, but the good news is my letter arrived at its destination! Although it was ripped ? second time I went I got a very helpful lady who advised me to put my letter in tougher layer of envelope because it was bulky, which I wished the first lady had done! This experience was a lot better and more helpful
