Pretty good for an independent convenience store in a low income high crime neighborhood. Just wish they didn't sell street drug related products.

I love this little neighborhood store the have pizza fountain drinks and premade deli sandwiches all ttpes of oddds and ends like batteries perfume and tobacco pipes the beer is ice cold and the selection plentiful.

Vargas Food Store closes early most nights before it's 12 midnight closing time posted. So, stop by before 11:00 pm, or be disappointed. The Vargas Market is open right across the street incase the Vargas Food Store is closed.
