Worst Experience Ever at Verizon – Rude Staff and Terrible Service!
As a loyal customer of Verizon for almost 5 years, I’ve spent a significant amount of money—$5,000 to $10,000—purchasing multiple generations of iPhones directly through Verizon, bypassing Apple just to remain a loyal customer. But after today’s awful experience, I’m done.
This morning, I went to my local Verizon store to replace a phone I purchased less than 4 months ago, which was still under warranty. Unfortunately, things took a dramatic turn when I interacted with Nick, the team lead. Nick’s behavior was nothing short of appalling—he was rude, dismissive, and condescending. He wouldn’t even make eye contact with me while speaking, which, honestly, felt disrespectful and hurtful. His tone was belittling, harsh, and completely unprofessional.
To make matters worse, the sales associate working with him was visibly uncomfortable, as if he was embarrassed by Nick's attitude. It’s clear that this isn’t just an isolated incident—his treatment was so inappropriate that it made the entire atmosphere tense and unpleasant.
After spending years supporting this company and trusting Verizon to provide great service, this interaction was the last straw. I’m now switching to a new provider and will be purchasing my phones directly from Apple instead of dealing with this branch again. The way I was treated is not what a loyal customer should ever experience.
To anyone considering visiting this Verizon store, I strongly advise you to stay away. You’ll be treated with disrespect and frustration, and it’s honestly not worth your time. If you value your money and your time, take your business elsewhere. I know I will.

I don't leave reviews unless I've been done wrong. This store ILLEGALLY made changes to my account resulting in thousands of dollars for which I'm now responsible. After numerous conversations with the Verizon Fraud Dept who admitted that this store illegally made these changes, there's "nothing they can do" since it had been 30 days past the day the changes occurred. Long story short: This store sold my 17-yr-old daughter (who is not an authorized user on the account because she is a MINOR) a brand new iPhone, an Apple watch, and a phone line to go along with the watch. I am the authorized user and received NO COMMUNICATION from Verizon about this sale. This store DOES NOT follow ethical sales policies. When I went back into the store, they refused to do anything to rectify the situation. I've filed a fraud dispute with my bank and have since switched phone carriers to T-Mobile.

Spencer is the rudest person I have dealt with at Verizon. Extremely unprofessional. He sold my ex a phone on my account and printed out my phone records for him. Avoid this store at all costs. The staff at the N Lamar store are exceptional, go there.

He was great. Very informative and prioritized our experience and needs. He sold us on a S25 512 ultra but the one we wanted wasn't in stock so we ended up purchasing it at a different verizon but still purchased a case from him.

We went in on a Sunday afternoon and Spencer helped my wife and I get new iPhone and get everything transferred. He went above and beyond to confirm that all of our apps and logins were working before we left. If you need a phone, do yourself a favor and look up Spencer. He’ll take good care of you.

Came in with issues regarding transfer of contacts to new phone as well as my Home Screen didn’t properly transfer from my android to my apple phone. Thomas greeted me at the door with a smile and warm demeanor and solved everything perfectly!

I showed up right as the store was closing due to inclement weather, and Spencer generously reopened to help me with my sim card. I was so grateful, because with the incoming storm, I was worried if I lost power I wouldn't be able to reach anyone. Thank you so much Spencer!!
