“We’ve been taking our 7yo dog to Dr Frank at 2222 aince he was 8 wo and it’s the only place we would ever take him.
They were super available to take him in immediately without an appointment when he got attacked by a shepherd dog. It was the first place we drove to after the incident and they immediately took him back for surgery.
Their follow up care was amazing.
My dog is now a happy tail wagging pup! ???

“We have been going to Parker Animal Care (formerly Am/Pm) for about 12 or more years. We love Dr. Parker, she is always compassionate, understanding and supportive when we as pet parents are dealing with stressful and emotional situations with our pets. I drive an hour away (more in traffic) to take my pets there even though I have several options much closer to home.
I haven't met Dr. Pocernich in person but she is a fantastic surgeon that saved my girl's life 2 years ago removing mammary cancer and just did it again a few days ago.
Let's not forget the techs, receptionists, and all other support staff. Over the years most have been wonderful and we know how vital they are to making it a great place. We love Parker Animal Hospital”
“Really appreciated my visit with Dr. G! My dog has had health issues since we got him, so in the last 3 years, I’ve learned a lot on how to manage his issues. By the time we switched services to T&C, we’d already tried everything. Even so, I still learned a few new things from Dr. G, got great advice on other things to try, and I loved how she didn’t rush through our appointment. She also suggested advanced next steps but was quick to tell me we aren’t there yet. That helps me as a pet parent plan for what might be to come in the next few years.
Also, as a pet parent with a dog that needs to be on consistent (expensive!) prescription medication, I also appreciated them suggesting ways I can save money on his pills. That’s not something a vet and vet tech usually tell me unless I specifically ask.
Glad I switched and looking forwards to many more years with T&C!”

“Ok I'm writing a review now after 2 visits 2 years apart.i wish I had submitted one 2 years ago but thought it was a one off. Two years ago one of my cats had an animal bite on his front leg, then started running a fever that night. The next day I started calling around to vet's offices close by including one that is literally a five minute walk from my house but none could see him same day. Enter Manchaca Village Vet, My child went to the same high school that they give programs for those interested in Vet care. Their over the phone staff was spympathic and was able to get me in that day with Dr.Sandra Ontiveros, DVM who diagnosed the animal bite was from another cat ( I wasn't sure) and prescribed antibiotics (she verified the dressing and antimicrobial paste I'd been using was fine). He made a complete recovery. ***(2nd visit in next post as this is long)
This is my second review of Menchaca
village Veterinary Care ( had to type it out in full so there was no mistaking who I was referring to). The first review is on Google search. The second time I needed a pet to be seen same day happened on August the 28th 2024, I had a kitten born on June 29th that was in pain and unable to walk with it's back legs. The issue happened the day before, but as it persistented thru the night I knew she had to be seen. I called the Vet down the street ( literally a five minute drive walk, if I didn't have a car) but their earliest appointment was a week, whereby Manchaca Village was able to see her that same day. Taia Lubitz, DVM saw the less than 8 weeks old kitten in my care and after X-rays it was found that she had two fractured femurs. ( Neither of us expected that as we thought it was a dislocated bone) She gave me all of the the opinions ( regardless how unsavory...like euthinesia) and put in calls to the shelter and specialist ( which I went with). Thier techs stayed with Moo and comforted her while everything was arranged. They even sent a follow up request to see how she was doing. They are fantastic.”
“My pup, Mona has been going to Northwest Austin vet since we rescued her 4 years ago. They have always given her so much love from the time she gets there to the time she leaves. They make sure she is comfortable and not scared before proceeding with any tests. She has been boarded there a couple times while we were out of town. They gave me plenty of updates if I need them on how she was doing and took her out multiple times a day for bathroom breaks and to play. I defiantly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone who wants their animals to be treated right.”

“If we lived closer now, Zeek the GSP, would only go there. I entrusted HCAH for years with my fur babies until we said goodbye to them at 15 & 18 years old.
When Zeek got a cough and I wanted him to be seen asap. His vet close to us (we adore) just couldn’t fit us in. Sitting on 360 southbound then northbound on a late afternoon should tell pet owners how much I trust them. We have plenty of options closer, but the entire staff truly cares about each one and the patients and their loving mom/pops/humans whatever u call yourselves.”
