They didn't want to call my insurance to confirm coverage after they made me be on the phone with my insurance for 20 minutes to make sure, as they asked me, to confirm coverage. But when it was their turn to call, they told me it may take a while because they are short staffed... Never coming back here again!

3 visits to the pharmacy and not ready, finally they lost my medication. I'm traveling and can't resolve this. A very bad attitude personnel.
Dont STOP BY HERE or you will be really disappointed, choose another location.

This review applies to a couple other Walgreens pharmacies too. My cat has diabetes. My vet prescribed a FreeStyle Libre for her as a glucose monitor. This is usually for humans. However the prescription is valid. This seemed to confuse the two pharmacies I went to first. Sure, I get it. It took two weeks of back and forth for me to get this monitor. They gave me a defective one, that we discovered at the vets office when my cat was there for the procedure. The sensor was completely broken, a defective one from the manufacturer. My vet tells me to go to the pharmacy on s Lamar and “exchange” the defective for a non defective one. Usually when you buy a defective product, you go in, give it back, and get a non defective one, right? Pretty simple. This is what my vet told me to do. I get there, and immediately, the pharmacist gives me attitude telling me they can’t replace the defective sensor, that I have to go through the manufacturer. I am confused, because my vet sent me there, I heard them on the phone with this pharmacy, and the plan was to walk out with a new one. The pharmacist tells me I have to buy a new one which I am
not prepared to do as these sensors are close to $100 and it’s not my fault that a Walgreens pharmacy gave me a defective one in the first place. As I’m confused and asking questions, she becomes extremely condescending and starts talking to me like a child asking if I understand what’s going on. Obviously I don’t because I’m being told several different things and my cat is currently waiting at the clinic, needing this sensor. She condescendingly asks if I want her to call the manufacturer. I say yes and she says they probably won’t answer because it’s the weekend. Lo and behold they answer. This is something she could have done before I arrived or offered immediately upon my arrival since I am clearly distressed that my cat needs an item they refuse to give to me without paying an additional $100. I talk to the manufacturer. They tell me they have to mail me one. Is this an extremely stupid process? Yes. Is it strange that my vet prescribed a human sensor for a cat? Maybe but it’s a valid prescription. I don’t appreciate the hoops I had to jump through with the first two pharmacies, the absolutely rude and condescending attitude of the older blonde woman who worked on Saturday 02/16, and the unclear exchange process when it comes to defective pharmaceutical materials. This added a lot of unnecessary stress and distress to an already overbearing day where I am just worried about my cat getting the medical attention she needs. They don’t care. Maybe she had a bad Valentine’s Day. I don’t really care. Get some empathy training. Other reviews describe issues with the pharmacy as well being rude and dismissive. Absolutely deplorable! This is a good reminder to thoroughly vet those in charge of administering something as important as medication. Why would you enter a healing profession and then be so off putting? It’s giving she has emotional issues. My vet was so appalled at how the situation was handled they discounted the entire procedure which goes to show how other professionals in a similar industry view the situation.

Why would you lock your doors at 11:47 pm when your sign says that you close at midnight. Nothing more aggravating than rushing up to Walgreens at the last minute just to find the chick inside decided to close early and wouldn’t open the door. Very frustrating Walgreens. Otherwise, always have had good luck at this store.

I just had the most lovely experience at the photo counter. The two women working there at 1:10 pm on Monday Dec 16 were so kind and professional. An older couple was having a hard time with the photo app, and they patiently helped them through the editing options while simultaneously helping the rest of the customers efficiently. Thanks y’all!

I only picked this location because it was convenient but should have listened to the 2 stars. After confirming over the phone my prescription would be ready, I come in next day only for them to have the wrong script and incorrect client info. The script was different version and my address and number were incorrect. I called my doc office to confirm they sent over the right script and information and they confirmed everything was right. So sometime between Walgreens getting my info their system screwed everything up and I’ll need to wait a few days for medicine I really need. Don’t waste your time and just go to Walgreens.

This is place is garbage. Pharmacy is a joke. Like the rudest, disrespectful, dismissive, awful people imaginable. They are not there to help. Not in the least. Move your meds.

I went to Walgreens to get vaccinations. I could get up to four according to the app so I went ahead and selected four that I believed I needed. The woman behind the counter said, “ask him if he NEEDS four”. Then the cashier looked at me confused so I just told her I would go to my doctor instead and she looked relieved. THEY SEEMED PUT OUT BY HAVING TO STOP FILLING PRESCRIPTIONS AND ADMINISTER VACCINES. Too busy with the drive-thru customers I guess. Don’t trust these pharmacists at Walgreens. They push pills, not preventative treatment!

This pharmacy is a mess. They misplace medications and I have to call multiple times to get things filled properly.
Pharmacists lack sufficient knowledge to answer medication questions.
