Came here to pick up photos. No one was at the photo area.
Waited a good minute.
There’s a sign that says DONT GET YOUR OWN ORDER. Guess bc people don’t want to stand there for a long time. Go figure. Well the old man finally came up front and gave me my pictures and said pay up front.
The lady up at front cashier older Mexican lady. Was super nice and friendly.

You can keep your pharmacy kiosk.

I recently transferred all my prescriptions to the Walgreens on Slaughter and Mencheca. Went one time to pick them up, only to be checked out by a guy with a salty attitude. Transfered right back to HEB.
Look, if you're having a bad day it's fine. Just don't take it out on us. Even the pharmacist was sully toward him (when she had to scan her badge).
Pay peanuts and you'll attract squirrels. Walgreens needs to pay more to attract better employees.

I would give 5 stars if the online system had given accurate information, but when speaking to the pharmacist she was extremely helpful and pleasant!

The smell in this store is overwhelming even with a mask. I’ve visited a few times over several months since moving to the area, and it smells like something died - I look around for other people reacting, but I guess I’m the only one who can smell the body in the walls, idk.

I walk in 10 minutes before close knowing exactly what I want and where to find it within one minute because I work as a manager at a nearby store. Pokemon cards were on sale this week and the sale is done tomorrow. However, the cashier assured me there weren't any more cards in the aisles, the only ones they had were conveniently right behind her.
I thought oh okay no worries, tried to conversate with them but nothing, the cashier didn't let me put my number in the first time to get my discount but luckily I know these things so I asked if I could go back and get my discount.
The shift lead Josh and the cashier Vera were unwelcoming (I understand, last ten minutes of your shift) but then also proceeded to be extremely rude to me and one other customer that came in behind me a couple minutes later.
Literally, the customer walks in and Vera yells "you got 8 minutes" to which then Josh says "no, 6 minutes".
They didn't offer the customer any help in expediting their shopping or anything. At my store, which is just down the street, will always offer you help with your shopping no matter if it's the first minute of opening or ten minutes after we were supposed to close down because we care.
Josh and Vera do not.
I walked in and said they don't need to be so rude to me, I am apart of this company and also it's just not the right way to treat people, to which Josh replied "do you know how much trouble we have around here?"
And I said yes, I literally have your same job.
Walgreens for the win ! Heard tons of bad things about this location, now I know for sure
Edit: I contacted upper management, Kay Ariate is the district manager and Diane Young is asset protection (but she likes to think she's also the district manager) and they refused to even talk to me. Walgreens is by far the worst company I've ever worked for

Don’t get passport photos here. Girl
Was mad the time and the photos are awful. Other places show you the photos and are nice about it. Also was mad because I asked for my free digital copy.

If it would be possible I would give it -5 stars. Today sunday sept 22nd I went to this store and asked for 4 passport pictures and the woman that was attending me at 6.20 pm said that they would charge me for each copy. In total for each one of the 4 I needed. Then later, she said that she would charge me for each 2 pictures. She took the pictures and then I saw a printed promotion that said: "free digital copy available upon request" and asked her what did it mean and then she literally yelled at me: WHY DIDN'T YOU ASKED ME TO DO IT BEFORE? NOW I NEED TO DO EVERYTHING AGAIN! I told her to be nice to me and remember that I am a costumer. So she never answered me what I asked her. Then she asked me to put my email and phone number on the computer and told me that she would charge me an extra $6 for the digital copy. I told her what the promotion said and she told me that it was in other stores but not in that one. She started manipulating my picture and was taking a lot of time. So I asked her to call the manager and she told me that she would give me his business card but that she first needed to finish editing my picture. I went to the register and asked the cashier to call the manager and she said that the agressive woman that yelled at me was the manager! And she gave me the business card of another manager that works there in the mornings. I asked her for the name of the woman who was mean to me and she was hesitating in answering me and she said in a low and shy voice: Lorraine. I don't know if it is really her name."Lorraine" was the woman with long hair in her 40's as much as I could see because she was wearing a mask that made very difficult to understand her and see her face. After all the very bad time I had I told to the cashier that I didn't want to buy the pictures. She said she understood it. I drove to a farther Wallgreens and they were nice... they told me that as it says in the promotion, the digital copy is for FREE and not the $6 that "Lorraine " wanted to charge me. I will never ever go back to this walgreens although it is the closest to my place. But I'd prefer to drive a little bit more and get a good and respectful service as I deserve. Don't go there if you don't want to get a terrible service

Tried to fill a medication there that was out of stock. When I asked if any other Walgreens had it in stock, the pharmacist told me to call each individual Walgreens to ask. They definitely can tell if other Walgreens have it & were just being lazy.

I would not recommend going to this store for a passport photo as they frown upon usage of every day clothing, which is stated in passport requirements on the travel website. The photo people at the photo area said my photo would be rejected if a tank top was used because it would make it appear as if naked. This is false because only up to part of the clavicle is taken and I relooked at the passport I was sending in with my application and I clearly was wearing a tank top in it.

If there is a line, it moves very quickly. I have always been waited on by a person with a great attitude here.

The pharmacy is (usually) decent. Not ever really “above and beyond” and a couple times got a little bit of unfriendly people but mostly it’s…fine. As far as the store in general…almost the opposite. I HAVE had a couple really friendly people. That helps! But a lot of the time it’s pretty bad. For one story, I was just there to pick up an order I paid for on the app. I waited at the photo counter for over five minutes without anyone there. So I went to the front and asked. She said go to photo counter. She paged. Went back. Waited a couple mins and a gal came out. Told her my name. She went back and asked if it was under a different name. Nope. Right location? Yep. She said go to the pharmacy. Okay…sure. Waited in line behind 4 people. They looked confused and said no go back. I did. Said I could give the order number to look up. She said no and it had to be under the name. Then kept asking if it was under another name and right location. Yep. I told her my order. She said oh yea I remember that. Went back and laughed with someone and got the order under my name. Never was like “oh, sorry.” Just gave me the receipt. Thaaaaanks. When I was at the front counter too, some employee was just staring at the line and not doing anything. What?

Photo workers are incompetent. I'm paying a lot of money for a passport photo, and I expect for it to be an actual regulations.

Walgreens is rude, and the pharmacist is terrible. She is very condescending and is an absolute insult. I would rather pay more and go to heb where they treat me like a human without the fake voice and rude comments.
