As far as walmart goes, it's amongst the upper-average in terms of cleanliness and above average for the amount of staff working at any given time.

This was my favorite location until recently. The staff and leadership are dealing with too many issues to be even remotely pleasant or helpful. They’re rude and just want to be anywhere else- which is understandable. They are funneling everyone into self-checkout where nothing works and no one cares. So don’t bother coming here - go to Cedar Park or Pflugerville instead.

Walmart is what it is so let's not put lipstick on a pig, but as far as they go this one is about mid-level. Not super sketch or fancy but it does the job, or should I say you have to with self-checkout ?

I went to Walmart yesterday on FM 620 in Austin, Texas. I needed help on finding several items. I asked 6 different employees on the floor and none of them spoke any English. We are not El Paso or Brownsville. If Walmart is hiring bilingual people, they need to be sure they can speak English. I finally asked another customer where the hand cream was, and she directed me right to it. After I found the cream, there was another employee in the area who spoke English. A Spanish-speaking employee came up to him to ask a question and he couldn’t understand or help her.Time to check out and there was only ONE assisted checkout lane and a couple with two completely full baskets had started checkout. I had to go to the self-checkout lane which I detest and had to check $170 worth of groceries. Three or four employees were standing around watching but could have been at the assisted checkout lanes. Walmart is the largest seller of groceries in the United States, and they hire people that do not speak English and aren’t willing to help anyone. If they want us to check out our own groceries, they should at least give us a discount for doing their work. It is extremely easy to steal with self-checkout. The employees watching are just conversing with their fellow employees. I noticed a couple of thefts in the self-checkout lanes, but it wasn’t my job to tell anyone. This store was dirty, out of a lot of usually stocked items with no people to help the customers that only speak English.I will never set foot in that store again.Today, I went to another Walmart about 5 miles from the one I visited yesterday. This store had at least 5 employees at the assisted checkout lane and fewer self-checkout lanes. I did ask another employee on the floor where an item was; she didn’t speak any English but had her phone. I typed what I needed, and she showed me where I could find it.I will go back to that store. It was clean, there were plenty of employees; everyone I encountered was very pleasant and helpful. I went to the assisted checkout lane and got out of the store quickly.Groceries and personal items have gotten very expensive. I don’t want to fight to have to pay for my supplies. If I am spending money in a store, I expect to be helped when I spend it and not have to do it myself.

Rochely in the clothing department went above and beyond. She showed the true meaning of customer service. Even though she had lots of things to do, and lots of product to put up, she took her time to help me find exactly what I needed. A stretchy belt lol. And then she went right back to work, wasting no time. She needs to be considered for a management position. The five stars were earned by her

No one speaks English at this store. Only self check out is open. Long lines to check out for customers and no help from employees. Close this store. ?

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The guy selling the cell phones vanished for over an hour then out of the phones on discount. Will not be bringing my business back here.

Picked up an online order, the Walmart employee delivered the item to my car, and she also bought a small bag of candies and a large single rose to wish me a happy Valentines Day. This is great customer service ?
