Had my check deposited to the wrong account twice in this branch and the people working there were acting very smug about it not willing to help me. It hasn't happened in any other branch thankfully.

I don't write many reviews, but I just had to brag on Mecholah Hayden, Senior Premier Banker. I had a bit of an issue this morning that could have resulted in a mess for me. Mecholah jumped in and from the beginning had the kind of can-do attitude that is infectious. She dotted her I's and crossed her T's and got it done. Highly recommend Mecholah at this Westlake branch. She is top-notch.

I'm an immigrant who recently moved to Austin and visited this office. The guys took my new Texan id and checked it with a magnifier for about ten minutes. It happened to me first time in the US. I'd forget this case, but Walgreens, which is nearby, first time in my life(!!) requested my id while returning the charger. Сonclusions you can make by yourself.

I've very happy with this branch. The negative reviews are from people who were inconvenienced when the bank was closed and they arrived after the posted hours. It takes time to open and close a bank. It's out of line to give a business a rating of one because you were late. MRWP. The other complaint was from someone that was asked to show identification. Seriously, you gave a 1 because of having to pull out your license? Ever heard of two factor identification?

I needed to open a bank account for a small business and did some research online. Wells Fargo's basic business bank account seemed to be the best fit for our needs. I was a little wary opening a new account due to all the bad publicity in the past at Wells Fargo, but decided to give it a shot. I made an appointment online and was paired with Carrie, the dedicated Senior Business Banking Specialist (her title from her business card). I showed up to my appointment somewhat early, and the other associates/bankers in the office made sure I was comfortable while I waited. Once I sat down with Carrie, she explained everything in layman's terms, and patiently answered all my very basic questions. Unfortunately, I didn't have all the documentation necessary, but she very carefully laid everything out for me and set me up for success on my return visit. In the future, for any of my business needs, I plan on going out of my way to utilize Carrie and the Wells Fargo team in Westlake.

Very long wait for a simple account action. I arrived at ~2:45 on a slow afternoon and had to wait ~45 minutes to see a bank officer. The apology, "We've been busy," did not seem to be based upon the observable facts. The officer herself, once she became available, was efficient and friendly.

I've been a Wells Fargo customer since 2012 and never in my life have I dealt with such bad customer service as I received today. I went into this location for a simple money order to pay my rent and was unable to do so all because I had a temporary debit card. The reason I had a temporary to begin with was because my original debit card had stopped working due to a chip problem. They basically told me I couldn't use my own money! Then not to mention they said I needed my Drivers license to go about the money order which makes zero sense when I know my pin. HOW CAN I WITHDRAW FROM A ATM BUT CANT EVEN GET A MONEY ORDER FROM THE SAME ACCOUNT. Wells Fargo has lost a customer.

First of all the fact that all Wells Fargo branches around this area close at 5pm is crazy. Who has time to get to a bank before 5pm on a week day? The time crunch was even more frustrating this evening. It was raining, and I was in traffic for 20 minutes with less than 2 miles between me and WF (left Westlake Village before 4:40). I finally get to the store at 4:59 and am standing in the rain. Door is locked, lights are out and the bankers are ready to head out. I look at her like "What?!" And she shrugs and mouths, "Sorry, we are closed!" What a joke. I get back in my car, check my iPhone and it said 5pm on the dot. Absurd.

Have been with Wells Fargo for years.. never go to this location on a Saturday at 2:01! pm. (As they close at 2:00pm) I parked right in front of the entrance as soon as I walked out of my car the branch manager saw me going to the door not even less that 5 foot steps away and locked the door right in my face. Very well.

I have never had a problem with Wells Fargo, always polite always fast and easy and user friendly. Recently I had a problem with bill pay and I came to this location to get everything straightened out. This is the second time I've visited this location and both times I have gotten snobby rude and just plain impolite bankers. Never coming back to this one. I will go to a different Wells Fargo from now on.

This is a great branch. It's normally not too busy so if you need to be in and out, this is a good branch to come to. I've been with Wells for over 8 years and have had far more good experiences than bad. I base my impression on something on the 50 good experiences I have rather than the 1 bad experience I have unlike most of these geek reviewers on here.
