Windstream is absolutely terrible!!!!! We started trying to get internet in May of 2020 and now it looks like it will be January of 2021 before we have connection. I am setting this up for my 80+ year old mother and made it very clear to the sales rep that we needed to both be on the account. He said "no problem" and that was the first lie. Every time I call their customer care I have to get my mother on the conference call with them. They also "lost" the check we sent them to run the cable from the road to the house. Only after our bank started trying to find out who deposited the check did they come back that they had found it and we moved to the next adventure. No one lives at the property and they have showed up multiple times without an appointment. Their customer service department is the worst part. You call them and all they want to do is make an excuse why they cannot help you and that you will have to call back later. When I asked what they are going to do to make this right the sales rep said I was free to cancel the service. If we had an option for internet out in the sticks I would not do business with these people.

Ever single time the internet goes out it takes them 3 days and multiple calls from me to fix it. Every single time. Completely unreliable if you ever need help with your service.
