I was blown away by the quality of service I received from Eddy. I needed my catalytic converter replaced in order to pass state inspection, and everywhere else was giving me $3k+ estimates and unclear service times. But Eddy let me know upfront what the expected cost would be (which was under $800) and that it should only take him a day or two (I was fully ready to go without my truck for a week). The total cost ended up being about $130 higher than the initial estimate, but only because the O2 sensor wouldn't separate from the converter, so it also had to be replaced, and the converter he initially wanted to get wasn't good quality, so he got a better one for a bit more $. He explained why the O2 sensor had to be replaced very clearly, and showed me the cost of the parts. He also explained the difference between the catalytic converters he chose from, and why he went with the one he did. With that, he even let me know that I needed to use a higher quality gasoline with my new converter, as the quality of gas in Texas sucks, and shortens their lifespan. He even checked my AC for me as a secondary concern I had, and affirmed that there were no issues with it. I have a couple friends who also see Eddy for all their vehicle needs, and he gets the job done so efficiently and at a good price every time. Overall super happy, and I won't be going to anyone else for my vehicle while I'm in the Austin area, despite his shop being a bit far from me.
