Zilker Metropolitan Park Playscape Shelter is a large, fun, and family-friendly park that offers a variety of activities for all ages. Nearby, visitors can enjoy the Barton Springs Pool and Barton Springs or Barkin Springs, which are just a few feet away. The springs are great for swimming, with shallow spots for children and deeper areas for more adventurous swimmers. The water is refreshing and clean, and the surrounding area offers spots for lounging and relaxing. Additionally, visitors can walk along the beautiful creek, watch turtles, or explore the park’s natural beauty. Despite some minor maintenance needs on certain play installations, Zilker Park remains an incredible place full of activities and natural charm.
Park was amazing, community was very welcoming everyone is so kind. Was definitely a great experience and we're planning a trip back just to have time to explore the park more! We also got some great photos with our kids on the river
