Convenience does not always equal value; and zipcar has proved it is not worthy of being called either. The app is dated, service horrendous, and the overall experience can only be described as appalling. Today was my first experience and after booking the car and arriving to the location, the car was no where to be seen. Tried to cancel the reservation so I can book another one, but was told I will not receive a refund. Currently on the line waiting for someone to pick up, but it's already been 30 minutes and my reservation is now 25min late. If you're like me and have a tight schedule and need something dependable... Stay away from zipcar. I now need to call an Uber just to make my appointment. Completely absurd.

This place is the best! Great Peet's coffee, the nicest baristas, and discounts with your capital one card. They also have discounts for people without capital one cards. I love their chai because it isn't very sweet, so I usually get a dirty chai w espresso, and it's always on point. They have the best employees, they are always so nice and going out of their way to recommend something or tell you about their offers or just be friendly. Anytime I take someone there they can't believe how great it is. Thank you capital one cafe for always making it worth the walk from Cesar chavez

About the size of a medium Starbucks, but with Peet's Coffee and bank tellers in a cafe environment. Overall, nicely decorated, with a prime location on 6th St. Also, there's a Blue Royal Grocery on the same block that has some nice foods if you don't want to eat what Peet's has to offer. This is a coworking space and free to use, with copious electrical outlets and a variety of seating. The ambient noise from the music, cafe, and patrons are loud enough that you don't feel bad about doing a conference call in the open, but not so loud that they disrupt the call. Definitely appreciate that the music is low-volume. WiFi quality was good for normal emails and such. I was using Slack for a video call and there was some latency (that annoying delay from when you say something and the other person hears it, and so you're interrupting each other, etc.), but unclear if it was from the WiFi or just general Internet problems. We did reduce to audio-only and still no luck. I'm going to blame this on the Internet but did want to mention it. Interesting aspect of being in a coworking/cafe space that's also a bank: There's at least one security guard on duty as well as at least 2 bankers lounging around, usually not doing much banking. Compared to most urban cafe environments, I felt the most safe here, including leaving my laptop around when going to use the restroom. Bathrooms: Only 1 unisex bathroom, though probably fine for the size of the space. Clean, functional, and spacious.

This cafe is a great place to get coffee and do some work whenever you're in the downtown area! There's plenty of space with outlets near pretty much any seat (plus, since this cafe is located on the very busy intersection of 6th and Congress, the window seats are great for people watching if you need a mental break from your work). In terms of noise, this location usually strikes a balance of being generally quiet while still having a few background conversations going on. As for the drinks, I highly recommend the Havana cappuccino - it's sweet without being overly so. Plus, Capital One members get 50% off all drinks (food is sadly not included in this deal), and as of this review, members get free drinks and non-members get 50% off 8am - 10am Mondays and 2pm - 4pm Thursdays so long as you bring in a reusable cup!

It was my first time in one of these and it was a good day to stop in as any cardmember got their entire order free. The cinnamon vanilla latte I got was good. It was a very modern space; not a really cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay long, but it was good for a work meeting. There were staff on hand to help with banking needs but I didn't need/use this service and they didn't approach me either.

Please move closer to me!!! What a great concept and execution. Came to this cafe after my wife suggested it from her previous business travels to Austin. Had about an hour of work to do and was pleasantly surprised. With my Capital One card I was able to get 50% off My dirty Chai. The space was clean and with security so I only wished that there was one near where I live. I will be back!

DO NOT DO ZIPCAR. I did a free trial and have called 4 times to cancel my membership and have been on hold for over two hours, no exaggeration. The only way to cancel is on the phone and the hold is is ABSURD. If I could give it zero stars I would.

I never would've imagined that a bank would be one of my go-to coffee spots in downtown Austin. I absolutely love coming here! The people who work here are really friendly, the drinks are well-made, and it's crazy affordable for Capital One cardholders. They also have cool giveaways and fun events from time to time where I've walked away with much more than a cup of coffee. I definitely plan on keeping the Capital One Cafe as part of my weekly routine.

I was looking for a place to work for couple of hours and have some coffee and I did not stay, because there was the most un cozy and uncomfortable chairs and tables overall the atmosphere kind of cold ... just to grab a coffee and go.

Wasted $150. First of all, we had to pay extra for more miles which was an inconvenience but also the zipcar gas card in the car wasn't even working so we called the call center and they were so unfriendly and hung up on us. They said to compensate they will give us $10 ZIPCAR CREDIT like thats gonna do anything when their vehicles are all around $100 and we just paid for our gas with our money. Ridiculous. Also the car smelled extremely fishy and was in terrible condition we had to go to the closest store and buy air fresheners. Please save yourself your time and money and dont take ANY chances with their cars.

the coffee is pretty good they have a few unique drinks (tumeric cold brew, Vietnamese cold brew) cool airy space and they're dog friendly and allow dogs inside! service is completely off though. There are a few people who work there and are very sweet and remember my name when I come back-- high five to them! Sometimes, like today I wait in line and there's no one else in line and there's no one behind the counter. I come in on my work break and don't have a long break. The barista was texting on her phone behind the counter and after 10 mins of me waiting I had to ask her if I could order. If I wasn't on a time restriction I would like this place more. But why aren't the baristas infront the whole time? why do I literally have to find someone to take my money?!!

Anywhere else, this place would have 5 stars, but with so many great food and coffee places in the area, I can't really recommend coming here over other options. Pros: * Plenty of space and places to sit down, plug in, and get work done. * This is technically a bank, however strange that sounds. Which means it's under careful video surveillance and probably the safest spot on 6th street. Like many shops in the area, sometimes homeless folks come in, but that's about as rough as it gets. Cons (I'm aware that I'm reaching for something to complain about): * Food options are limited, bagels and baked goods are just ok. * Friendly people standing around who are part of the financial services that this whole place is basically setup underneath. It's a little weird. But yeah they will absolutely talk to you about a g-d home loan. Other notes: * Coffee is standard, about at the level of Starbucks. I recommend the cold brew coffee that's prepared in advance and not their espresso-based drinks. * Note that the place tends to be a little understaffed so don't be surprised if you're waiting a bit for your coffee when things are really busy downtown.

Ten dollars for 5 cups of coffee that sufficiently caffeinated 5 coworkers, how much better could it be? If you have a CapitalOne card, of course. It's really affordable and good Peets coffee if you are with CapitalOne. I ordered a coconut cold brew latte like of thing and it turned out to be too sweet for me. will avoid that next time and try some classical stuff like regular latte.
