“I love this place, I love the interior. The swing is what set it off for the girlies!!! ?I’ve been coming since doors opened. Soon as I walk in they already be ready to take my order. Service fast. I love how strong their daiquiris is my dad always go and get him his favorite special half gallon to go. You want regret it’s a cool chill spot. They have hookah too if you don’t want to be around a big crown (ex: club) this is your spot to go. Chill smoke hookah and drink a good daiquiri, also they do have other varieties such as (Beer, wine, soda, jelly shots).”

“Zipps has hard to find, allocated bourbon at good prices. Buffalo Trace is usually always in stock at or below MSRP, same for Weller SR. They also have some great store picks like Four Roses small batch select, and 1792 barrel proof. The higher end bottles like Stagg, and Blanton's are marked up.If you like bourbon, I'd highly suggest making a stop at Zipps Liquor.”
“Super friendly and helpful staff. Always carry pretty cool gift packs and take notes of things you're looking for so they can stock or find for you. Prices are competitive to others, location easyv to get in and out of. Large selection and super clean store.”

“This is a great store with a manager who takes care of his customers. I was looking for a specific bourbon and he was able to order it, then call when it was ready for pickup. If he comes by something you like and knows it, he will call you. Very good customer experience.”
“I’m normally a Spec’s girl BUT I noticed this place on my way into H‑E‑B and I had to pop in. If you’re looking for liquor of any variety they definitely seemed to have it. Their prices are very average and what you would expect. What was really nice was I was there on a Friday and it was practically empty. With Covid-19 going on, I enjoy my space.The customer service seemed okay, they asked if I needed help but I wasn’t feeling social and I knew exactlyyyy what I was looking for. I wish they had a rewards program since that always makes me feel better about buying alcohol. Either way, I’ll probably be back. It was very clean and very organized. Aesthetically pleasing.I’ll likely make trips here going forward since it’s so conveniently located next to HEB.”
“It isn't massive. Prices are decent. In an out tends to be quick. If you are not looking for odd ball things, they will probably have it. Big plus is you can get bait next door.”

“For years, I was spoiled by living close to the big Smith Street location. However, now that I live outside Houston, the Woodforest location is close by. Even though it's a much smaller store, I've always been able to find everything I'm looking for. The employees I've dealt with have always been nice and friendly. Perhaps the only drawback is that some pretty shady characters often make their way into the store, but the security guy is always quick to 86 them if they get out of line.”
“By far the best liquor store I have ever been to. The prices are good and the selection is wonderful. The owner is very polite and friendly. As I read the other reviews here I am d*** struck by the review that Tiffany Ramirez left. She must be sadly mistaken on where she visited. Also, she should be lucky that her sodas were replaced. With any store once you buy it, take it home and open it, the store is no longer required to replace anything. Damn ungrateful people anyways. I go to Cuevas Liquor all of the time. It's the only liquor store I will go to. Some people are just so immature.”

“Sunny's is jam-packed with liquor.. probably because it's a pretty small store. It isn't going to have everything like the largest chain in Houston, but it does have a decent selection of scotch and a whole aisle full of those "buy some liquor and we will give you some free stuff packages" that you normally see at Christmas time. The store also has a reasonable selection of cigars and cigarillos if you are looking for something like that. Pricing in terms of whether or not it's the lowest price around is mixed. I have seen some brands that are cheaper than the largest chain in town and some that were quite a bit higher so you are going to have to know your brand and the competition if you want to know if you are getting a good deal or not. Service. It's a one man operation but the owner is friendly and if you spend the right amount, he may throw in a goody, like a free shaker for making martinis and such (I have been given two so far).”
