“I have visited every store in Austin multiple times over my 23 years living there. Last week was my first time visiting the Bastrop location, and it was the most pleasant Academy experience by far. The store was very well kept, everything seemed very neat & orderly on my walk through the store to the gun counter. I was immediately impressed as their gun counter was well stocked, and the associate greeted me & offered help straight away. He was knowledgeable, and very efficient. That was, by far, the quickest firearm purchase I have ever made at an Academy or any store really. I have my TX LTC which speeds up the process a bit, but, never has a purchase gone so smoothly. In & out the door with exactly what I walked in intending to purchase within 30 minutes tops. I will be visiting the Bastrop Academy location from now on!”

“I’m giving this place 5 star because my kids love this place!! I on the other hand think it’s overpriced but after shopping at like 7 stores for shoes for my teenagers! I found this store and they ALL finally got shoes they really liked!!! Yeah buddy! Like I said a little overpriced but so worth it I’m done shoe shopping!!!??❤️”
