“We were visiting friends in the Mont Belvieu and chose this hotel mainly because it's set back from the main road, making it quieter than many properties along Garth Road.

Check-in was fine. Although I had already checked in via the app, I stopped by the front desk to pick up a physical key, which I usually do as a backup. As someone relatively new to Hilton Garden Inn, I asked whether any complimentary upgrades were available. The response I received, something about water in the room, was a bit confusing and didn't clearly address the question.

Later, when we left the room with recyclable bottles, I asked the same front desk staff member about recycling options. Again, the response was unclear and I was directed toward a water fountain, which didn't answer the question. I shared this experience with the general manager, Veronica, who was receptive and professional. She explained that the property does not have recycling options and said she would address this with management and also use the situation as a coaching opportunity to improve staff communication and customer engagement.

The room itself was fine and met expectations, with no major issues. It's also worth noting that the hotel does not have suites--only standard and accessible rooms so upgrades should not be expected, as confirmed by the general manager.

Overall, a decent stay, and I appreciate management's willingness to listen and improve. Hopefully, communication will be smoother on future visits.”

“The hotel is beautiful and the hotel is clean and the management is very kind and considerate at the front desk. There is a Walmart directly across the street and several places to eat within walking distance I'm talking no more than three blocks. This room that I am in is better than $150 rooms I have stayed in in the past. So that is why I give this hotel and ownership five star”

The General Manager(PR) went above and beyond to assist us. He was incredibly accommodating, pleasant, and truly understanding of our situation, which made a stressful experience so much easier to handle.

“Decent place, nice size king room with the induction kitchenette and full size refrigerator. The location was very convenient for what we needed. Shopping and the Pirate's Bay Waterpark minutes away. There is no pool at this place, though.”

“We needed anything place to rest for our 10 hrs so we would not be in violation in the ELD. There are places to park for big trucks back behind cracker barrel.
The front desk lady was really helpful with places to eat around the area & getting us a good room. We found this hotel in a truck drivers app & glad we did. Great price & room. Did not stay for the breakfast but there is a complementary breakfast & coffee.
Rooms are spacious & there was a refrigerator, microwave. & coffee maker in the room. Along with a recliner & desk with chair.”

“It's nothing fancy but the service is friendly. The rooms so far have been really clean even though you can tell this is an older establishment. They have made noticable remodeling changes to improve the appearance. The prices are great if you are on a budget.”

“Motel6. East Baytown/Mont Belvieu, TX. I typically don't stay at Motel6 properties, but from time to time, I find myself staying the night at one. This particular motel has a dedicated truck and trailer parking area, right beside the west bound I-10 frontage road. If you happen to be traveling west, That's quite convenient. I stayed on a tuesday night, and rate was very affordable. The exterior of the motel appears somewhat weathered and dated, but the room itself was very clean. The accommodations were basic, with no refrigerator or microwave, but the bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water and strong water pressure. I like the non-carpet flooring, that alone makes the room feel more hygienic. Gas station and Waffle House next door, Chinese restaurant and McDonald's across the street. For a bare-bones budget stay, this motel delivers exactly what you'd hope for and earns a solid 5 out of 5 imo. As always, YMMV.”
