My dad was understandably very upset after experiencing an issue with an order. Alison, at the front, was incredibly patient as she explained the store’s policy and helped him understand what could be done. She was kind, respectful, and never made him feel dismissed.

Iva, the manager, was truly one of the most professional people I have ever encountered in a retail setting. He handled the situation with an incredible amount of patience and calm. Even though my dad was clearly frustrated, Iva never appeared stressed, defensive, or rushed. He took the time to listen, work through the issue, and make sure my dad felt that the situation had been resolved.

Both Alison and Iva did an excellent job of keeping the situation from escalating, while still treating my dad with respect and dignity. How they handled everything meant a lot to me.

I sincerely hope the store and regional management recognize what exceptional team members they have in Alison and Iva. Retail employees are increasingly on the front lines dealing with complicated and escalated customer situations face-to-face, and that can’t be easy. The patience, professionalism, and composure these two demonstrated deserve to be acknowledged and rewarded.
