“They price match! Make sure you take advantage of this. As with most college bookstores, they’re banking on the fact that you get to use your financial aid and you won’t care as much about the pricing. Most of these books are available for 1/2 the price on websites that they will price match. Keep your loans down!”
“I hadn't been through Salado in years, and I wanted to show my children this quaint little town. My daughter saw the sign for Fletcher's Books & Antiques and we HAD to stop. Oh, what a haven this was for her! She picked up 4 classics; Phantom of the Opera, Madam Bovary, Northanger Abbey, and Wuthering Heights. My 13 year old bookworm said this place was "literally" amazing!”

Book Stores
“There are so many books to choose from! The owner was very nice and helped us with what we were looking for! There's also a wonderful little store kitty that loved to be picked up!”
“It is a variety store. Prices are a hit or miss with all other stores. You can find some cute things at pretty reasonable prices. The only issue we had was we got a backyard badminton set. Clearly $5.00 ring up but an even clearer $4.00 price tag on the product. I wasn't aware stores could charge more for something which clearly had a different/lower price. Didn't think to ask the person at the front about the difference. The person at the front was friendly and attentive.”
“I like to go here because you never know what you’re going to find. I’ve found some of my favorite books here and they will also take any used books, cds, or movies you’d like to donate. They are kind of pricey for a used bookstore but they have a lot to choose from and the books are all in really good condition so it’s worth it. I wouldn’t buy any dvds from there however because all the times I’ve ever bought some they didn’t work.”
