“Yesterday was my first visit to Village Mill Antiques in Salado. I met the owner and employee, who were both simply delightful. Dusty, overstuffed, museum-like antique stores definitely have their place and I love visiting them, but this isn't that. This is a place where the cash register is ringing every few minutes because items are not just shelf-sitters, but are actually being bought. The store was bustling with people throughout the hour I was there. Listening to the conversation of a man and lady with a granddaughter, I could tell they bring the little girl in every couple weeks just to see what's new. When I walked in, I was intrigued by two grocery shopping carts by the door. Who uses a shopping cart in an antique store? But guess what? Before I left, both were in use. Several display booths had a distinctively masculine feel with rare tools and neat old leather sports equipment, so my husband will have something to enjoy if he goes in with me next time. Each booth belongs to a different dealer, so I saw a wide variety of merchandise, as opposed to just the collection of a store owner. A person in a wheelchair would not have any trouble navigating and seeing everything in this store. Salado is an hour from my home, and I'm looking forward to going back to explore the village itself, as well as Village Mill Antiques again soon.”
“We've visited Kiki several times for my wedding ring and for jewelry repair. She even created a unique necklace using heirloom ladies wrist watches. She's patient, helpful, and knowledgeable.”
“This James Avery store in Temple was able to fix the mess the store in Harper Heights caused. I purchased three new charmes in Harker Heights. One unsoldered charm fell off. The loop on the charms were closed but not soldered I took it in to the Temple store and spoke to the manager Jennifer. She inspected the bracelet, cleaned it and soldered all the charms and replaced the clasp.
Save yourself the headache use the store in Temple.”

“I had my earlobes done. It was very quick and very easy. Just breath in and out through your nose and it will be quick and easy. It doesn’t hurt that bad at all. The lady was very nice and quick at piercing. I would recommend it is very sterile. If your looking to get your ear pierced you should get it here.”

There is seating while you wait for watch size repairs, lots, and lots of watch band choices (others not pictured). It is owned by a husband and wife team, and they are authorized citizen watch sellers. There are many many watches available.
I had my watch sized in about 10 minutes in and out the door for $15+tax. I will come back here for any other watch needs!

“Found two store front locations on same block with same owner. The store fronts very crowded with inventory, more of a decor than antique atmosphere. Noticed after I left that my receipt indicated I was there on Sept 5th, 2000? I’m glad I didn’t need a receipt for auditing on this one… ?!! Staff was friendly in both locations and I did find a couple of deals!!”

“I found this place by accident when I pulled off the interstate to use my phone. I just happened to pull into this parking lot and found the best Pawn Shop in Bell, Williamson, and McLennan counties…possibly Texas! They have great selection of tools and the best prices on firearms in the Belton/Temple area. They are super friendly and have nice light hearted personalities. You’re guaranteed to leave with a smile. If you don’t, you probably never have one anyway. I’ll definitely be back. Well, I have to go back to pay off those two pistols I put on layaway, but that’s beside the point. I’d already decided I was going back. They have everything from power tools to power washers. If you need it, they probably have it. They did me right on the bag of sockets I decided I needed and I felt like a kid at Christmas when I saw those guns. Just call me little Ralphie.”
