“I love shopping at Laura Mae's, the prices are always spectacular, especially with their daily deals, and it makes me feel good that the profits from my purchases help feed those in need!”

“This place was awesome! I visited from South Austin yesterday and visited Temple Christian Outreach for the first time. I was immediately greeted very kindly and approached and told about the insane deal that was happening - all women's clothing priced $7 were $1 that day. Also, half off many items above $8. I was so jubilant. They also had a wonderful selection of items. Both vintage, unique, and newer styles. I stayed in the store shopping for about 5 hours. The staff and the owner were extremely friendly and grateful. This place is absolutely worth a day trip! Looking forward to coming back again. Thank you for a wonderful day (:”

“This is a FANTASTIC place ! They do not preach at or to you, but they do inform you of services and events. IF you listen to them, do what they tell you to do, in the order they tell you to do it, in no time at all, you'll get set up in your own place...as long as you can stay sober while you're there. I was a resident there for several months. They got me state ID, SSI appointments, VA appointments, got my VA rating super quick, got housing approved quickly, found my appointment on my 4th call and 3 years later I'm still in my place. I KNEW what I wanted in my apartment (ac/heat, laundry hook ups, brick, 1 bedroom, pet allowed). My landlord is great. My case worker was Miss Kim and she was simply fantastic. I can't say enough positive things about this place. I donate as much as I can to them, clothes, shoes, backpack, suitcases, kitchen wears. I've been known to make leather wallets and purses for ALL the residents there.”

“This is by far the best goodwill I have been to, and I am a now a frequent shopper here. This store is so well maintained and they always have such a great selection. At other locations, I always feel dirty when I leave, but not here. Staff is also so kind, and I’ve grown to know many of them. I couldn’t recommend donating and shopping here enough, nothing but positive interactions here!”
